I got sick and tired of my old inkjet printer and literally threw it in the trash and went straight to Best Buy for a laser printer. This Brother printer had the highest rating off all the printers there and was a steal for $99. Yes, it only prints in black and white, but for school and work this is all I need. Best part is I don't have to waste $50 on ink trying to get the thing to print like with my old one.

Much faster than an inkjet and worked well wirelessly, but was dead before the initial toner cartridge ran out.

As starting off in college, & having a dad that prints out quite a few times through out the week, this printer has helped a lot more than our 8+ yr old printer. The feature of it being monochrome is a big plus. The toner cartridge doesn't dry out as ink does, it's just a win win for the customer.

I have been using this printer for almost a year now. The printer has worked well till now without any issues. I have it connected to the WiFi and can print from any device (computer or phone). Very good device.

After numerous unsuccessful attempts at installing the printer drivers, I gave up and returned to Best Buy. Tried every different way I could think of to install the software but got a "difxdriverpackageinstall error = 10" message every time. And when trying to use the "add a printer" function from the Windows control panel I was not able to even print a test page. Very frustrating.

This deal was great and we are happy to use it. Wireless wetting was not easy from one computer to another one (I had several computers) but still it is working fine.

It's too soon to really comment on this product as printers show their true colors in later years. Documentation was lacking so I had to fiddle around to get it working and that's why the 4 star. Else it's been ok so far

Have had hp printers in the past, decided on the Brother laser printer and glad I did. Much better printer with a much better price.

Like the double faced printing. Would recommend to anyone

Brother printers are really awesome than HP or Canon. Used this printer for me for last two years. Bought again for my brother.

This is a perfect all-purpose printer for daily use, the toner is very affordable and easy to find.

I have only used it a few times and it does a good job. This is my first time with both a wireless and laser printer and works well with my Itouch and Windows lapto

Bought it for 1 year. Now it only prints or scans once after power up because It always disconnect from the network 1 to 2 minute after power up. Tested it with direct USB connection and found the same symptom. The only way to solve the problem is to power down and up before any print or scan job.

Does everything it needs to and does it well. Recommended.

Much faster printing rate compare to my old printer!

Printer works great when it's connected to wifi. It only stays connected to wifi for 24 hours at a time. After that, you have to repeatedly type in the wifi password to make it work. Terrible design and horribly frustrating.

I bought this printer 13 months ago. Two weeks ago it started printing all black pages on both sides. I contacted Brother Customer Service. There were very thoughtful and quick to response, but since the product was out of warranty (for just two weeks!) we tried to troubleshoot everything (cleaning the drum, changing the toner cartridge, everything). They conculded I had to replace my drum unit, since it was not working properly. I paid $150 for this printer, and the original replacement drum unit is $105. I bought the new drum unit and replaced the old one. I even used a brand new original replacement cartridge I had. But nothing...the problem remained the same, all black prints on both sides of the paper. So now I paid $255 ($150 for the printer and $105 for the new drum unit) for a printer that stopped working after 13 months of very, very low domestic use (I made less than 600 prints in those 13 months!). In sum, if you are looking for a reliable product that doesn't malfunctuion right after the warranty expires look elsewhere.
