Set up was simple and fast. App downloads makes it easy to print from mobile - tablets - and laptop or Chromebook with ease(there are two apps) the plug in-with a small print delay and the iPrint&Scan, both work well so far. Printer starts right up with minimal warm up time. Prints fast and very quite. We're still using the starter toner.

I have been awaiting a printer that would just do black and white. I kept getting everything but this type of Toner type printer because I thought I could not afford one. Think again, this one is easy to afford, Faster (accurately faster) and I never have to tell it to print black and white only. I just wanted to print text and basic stuff so this works great!

This is turning out to be a great printer / scanner / copier. The fact that it is easily joined to my wireless network means I can place it anywhere that is convenient all that is required is a power outlet to plug it into. After installing the software on multiple PCs and laptops at our house it is real easy to scan a document or picture at this multi-function machine and deliver it to the desired PC. Printing is quiet, smooth, crisp and clear. It is only black and white, but that is sufficient for my needs and it is much more economical in regards to both the cost of the printer as well as the cost of the printer's consumables. Any photos I print I generally just send to the photo printer of my choice online (Walmart, Wallgreens etc.) anyway.

Generally pretty fast, quality is pretty good. printing from mobile is easy and fast and you can scan to your mobile easy. Wireless set-up is generally could have been tested more. I tried to set it up on another computer, but it would not finish the process. Don't like that scanning does not automatically crop, you have to choose a size.

I'm a first-time Brother printer user, and I'm already a fan. The printing/scanning software was easy to set up, and only required about 100 MB on my hard drive. There weren't any stupid round-about programs required, you can choose to install JUST the drivers for printing and scanning. You can register computers on your network to scan directly to, and wireless printing is also a breeze to do. The only thing to watch out for is if pages start printing blank: this means that there's dust on the glass of the laser. I wasn't sure what was wrong when this first started happening, but now that I know, it's a quick fix: you just open up the printer and wipe the inside with a lint-free cloth. I'd definitely recommend this printer if you can get by without color.

I bought this printer to be a second, wifi only printer in our house. It took about 30 minutes to get set up to function in our home network, and even survived a fall from my kitchen table. (Dog running meets power cord.... Printer goes airborne). I like it enough that I plan on replacing our 3 year old HP laser printer with a second one of these. The only knock is the quality of the print is slightly lower than my HP. That being said, the brother prints without fail, the HP gives us troubles.

This multi-function printer packs a lot of features into a relatively small footprint at a very attractive price. A little glitchy to set up, but nothing major. It's fast, prints at very good resolution, toner is inexpensive, works wirelessly. My only niggle is that I thought is was a little plasticky quality wise.

Very good printer...it's fast, makes great copies and will save us a lot money. It prints black only....so good bye to those exspensive color cartridges. Just what we were looking for.

The setup was very easy and configuring it to use WiFi for both my MacBook and iPad also quick and easy. I've have had a Brother DW2350 for about 4 years and it has worked flawlessly so I expect the same with this model. Great value. It is a bit noisy but I don't print that often. Also the fact the printer is in a bedroom with virtually no ambient noise may make it more noticeable.

Printer arrived quickly and was very easy to setup and use. I was able to easily download the driver from the accompanying disk for an older version Vista-based computer. Since this is an older version of the Brother HL-L line of printers, the disk did not have the driver for a new Windows 10 based computer which I recently purchased, but I was able to easily download the driver from the Brother website. Printer was available at a reasonable price comparable to other merchant sources and I consider it a great value. Printer and copy functions are used primarily for light home use, and to date, we have had no problems. I have not yet used the wireless setup - so far its only been hard wired.

I had to replace my old Brother laser printer to keep up with new hardware, it still worked perfectly, I just don't have a land line anymore for faxing and newer electronics didn't sync with it. This printer works great and is very economical and reliable. Only thing it doesn't work well with is heavy card stock.

I was in search of a replacement for an inkjet I could not stand. This is by far the best printer I've ever owned. Only issue is it is black and white only, not color, but I am ok with that. Very fast and high quality printing. Easy to setup with very straight forward instructions. Wifi printing works flawlessly.

I hate ink jets. The ink gets so expensive and it seems like you change the cartidge every week. This laser printer solved the problem for me. I use a brother printer at work so I bought one for home and I have loved every minute of it. Easy to install but the way to use it with an ipad is a little tricky. Overall outstanding purchase.
