The printer was easy to set up in my wifi system & works with Windows 10. (I couldn't get my previous ink cartridge printer to work with Windows 8 or 10.) Combined with the discounted price, this printer has proved so far to be an excellent buy.

I had bought another Brother and the display did not have enough contrast, it was like gray on a greenish background. My old eyes, even with cheater glasses were useless. This one though, was a breeze to set up. It is laser print, black only. I no longer need color printing, and this is so much cheaper. Thankfully, I bought it when it was $70 off the price! (An added bonus). I went to the store to buy it, but the box was so badly damaged, I was afraid it would be damaged too.So I ordered online. It even came a day early!

Easy to set up, fast printing, much cheap than my old ink printer.

We replaced an office Lexmark and HP laser with a couple of these. The ability to wi-fi and use iOS devices with it provides a lot of flexibility. All features are significantly above other printers in its class. Good value for the money.

Brother makes the best consumer laser printers in the business. When I recommend and install one of their products, I can be assured I'll never have to deal with repairs or frustration again. Expect this product to work for a long, long time.

Bought this printer two years ago and it is still going strong. We use it frequently and find is to be perfect for our printing needs. The one small annoyance is that you have to manually reconnect it to our router every time the power goes out. Not sure if all printers are like this. Other than that is has been great.

Good printer for the price (purchased on sale). The quality is ok, not a deep black ink but good for what I use it for. Easy set up, touch screen commands, works great with my apple products

I got tired of buying the small color cartridges that either don't print nearly close to what they say they will printer or just dry up before they are completely used. This printer was very easy to set up and get working right out of the box. The only issue that I had was that I couldn't get my cell phone to work on wi-fi and Brother's customer support was able to quickly resolve the problem that wasn't the printer, it was my phone. There hasn't been a problem with the printer "waking up" to print and it is quiet and fast.

Well priced, does what it says and does it well. Brother have always made good quality printers in my experience. As long you don't need color, which I don't, this will do everything you need and is a LOT cheaper then inkjet printers!

copies, scans, prints great, easy to use, always connected

Had it about a week. Easy setup. Started printing and scanning. So far pretty dam good except I think scanning is a little slow. Wish Brother would release a stand alone scanning application with good features.

This printer is easy to work with and makes decent copies.

This laser printer works very well and is easy to assemble. Downloading the software for Windows 10 was a little involved but it worked the first time. A good option for someone who has no need to print in color.

I bought this to replace an inkjet printer ... tired of ink cartridge prices. I miss the color, but it's really not needed for 99% of what I print. It works great, and performs as advertised. I also got a great buy on it, as well.

I love how convenient this printer/copier/scanner is to use. I use it more than I thought I would and would recommend it to anyone. It doesn't have color printing but I am only in need of black and white anyway.

I think Brother printers are the most consistent on the market. Never jamming , consistent color,easy to use copy and scan features. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

If you need fast printing with scanning capabilities cheap and for an active family, this will do. It's definitely not as good as my color laser, but it's great for kids homework and saving wear and tear on a color laser.

This Brother printer is an excellent value if you don't need color. You get all the advantages of laser printing, like smudge-free copy and lower costs per page compared to inkjets, plus added features like automatic double-sided printing, stand-alone copying with enlargement and reducing capabilities, and scanning. The scanning capabilities of this printer are outstanding. Color or black and white in adjustable resolutions, with an option to scan directly to certain specific apps are just a couple of nice features. I don't personally use the extra scanning features, but it's nice to have them available just the same. Quiet, fairly fast, inexpensive both to buy and to operate, and includes a stand-alone copying and scanning to boot. What else could you want for about a hundred bucks?

This is my first laser printer. It does a good job. As a Mac user I could only get it work by setting up a separate network and switch from my usual network to local printer for all my Apple products.
