Brother products have always provided great quality and this product did not do wrong by that. Inkjet printers tend to get clogged nozzles if you do not use them, which in my case happens a lot, then you spend a fortune on ink to get the jets to work again. This is my first laser printer, besides the one from work, and so far I am very impressed. GREAT QUALITY PRINTS!

Great daily use B/W laser printer instead of using our Epson ink jet which is costly to operate when using for text printing. When on sale for $100 it is an unbelievable buy. Highly recommended. I know others who use this printer and they highly recommend it. I recommend it for anyone who has school aged kids needing to constantly print for school work.

I wanted to get away from the ink printers because our printer use is limited and ink printers seem to get clogged and eventually fail to work properly.

Overall great home printer. Prints fast and clear! Great for students, does not take up a lot of space. Easy to set up and use!

My ink jet was costing me too much in ink cartridges because of the black ink being used in all colors. Based on the research, this should be less costly.

The price for the printer and the ink are very reasonable. Furthermore, It is easy to operate.

Best feature about this printer is the Wifi option. I can place the printer anywhere I want without worrying about running a cable to it.

The printer does a nice job of printing and has a lot of features, but the install failed miserably. We had to call Brother helpdesk and spent 45 minutes with them to get the printer recognized by our computer. No opinion on durability yet.

Works great and makes great copies. I only wish it was smaller.

I've used this printer for a few years now and it still works as well as the first day. Each cartridge last me 6 months to a year. I highly recommend it. I'm considering trading it up for another brother laser printer with color but I this one is working so well that it's hard to justify since I don't need color that often.

This printer works well and has already saved me a ton on inkjet ink. I'm so glad we went to laser, and Best Buy's prices and rewards were a tremendous help.

Easy to set this machine up. Has been working without a single problem.

Need to contact customer support as I have it hooked up wireless and cannot get it to scan or fax. Also the printer goes off line every once in a while. I am sure it is just a setting or something simple to fix.

Great printer, love that it's laser so that there's no ink drying and waist with cleaning the print heads and things like that, happy with the purchase

I have had it with HP printers and expensive inks. They're customer service was useless and my printer would continue spooling old documents out until I ran out of paper and ink. This brother prints fast black and white documents and the wifi works every time. It is an excellent copier also. Don't have a fax line so not sure about that feature.

Does exactly what it needs to do, wireless setup took awhile though. Wish it came with a cable for a direct link between the computer and printer.

Had an issue with the original not printing. Not ideal. But, took it back and they replaced it with no problem. New one works great.
