    Printer arrived with a broken blue ink. I contacted Best Buy. Ink was not replaced. Difficult to connect wireless. Purchased a cord to connect.

    Not a duplex printer

    Would not buy again. Printing on both sides is not duplex but rather you have to turn over the sheet manually and feed it into the machine again. Did not research it thoroughly before purchasing.

    Lasted 6 months. When I try and copy something only a small portion of what I am copying ends up on the page. Can’t scan full document either.

    i live 30 miles from my store so i emailed for help about any additional acccessories so my printer could be used as soon as it was delivered it got here and it needed a cable from my computer leaving me to either drive there or buy one on line wasting gas and time or money to ship it that stunk! two more days wasted time and gas if BEST BUY WANTS TO BE A GREEN FRIENDLY COMPANY YOU SHOULD TRAIN YOUR FOLKS BETTER SO THEY CAN KEEP PEOPLE COMING BACK NOTHING GETS YOU MADDER THAN A NEW SHINEY PACKAGE YOU CANT USE TILL YOU ORDER THE STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW I NEED THE COMPUTER IS 5 STAR SCOTT

    Very disappointed. The reason for buying this product was because it was advertised that the ink is expected to last for up to 1 year. The sticker on the machine even states that you should be able to print up to 100 pages a month. I just printed for the 1st time and it was less then 50 sheets and the machine is out of ink. What BS. Don't buy this product unless you are ok with spending more money immediately. I am very upset that I now have to go out and buy more ink.

      Up to 1 Year of Ink In-box is based on average monthly print volumes of approximately 100 pages at 60% black pages / 40% color pages in accordance with ISO/IEC 24711 using 4 cartridges provided in-box.

      The MFCJ1205W comes packaged with LC404 INKvestment TANK Super High Yield Ink Cartridges. Actual yield of initial cartridges will be approximately 87% of replacement LC404 Series, due to ink system initialization. All replacement cartridges will provide approximate page yield stated in accordance with ISO/IEC 24711. Brother

    It does a great job and the ink is wonderful. The only thing is I did find out that when the time comes the ink is about $72.00. My other Brothers it was only $34.00 and yes I see this one is bigger.

    Printer doesn’t connect to alternate network

    So this printer is not easy to set up. I work in IT and this is not intuitive at all. I anyways was able to connect it to my home Wi-Fi and iPhone as well as my laptop all wirelessly. All good - used it 2x then moved to my summer house and could not get it to connect to the new Wi-Fi network. So all in all a very expensive purchase considering I was able to print only 2 times. So frustrating……

    I was excited getting it! Got it and everything seemed to go okay I guess, it wasn’t heavy, instructions were easy to follow! Once doing the whole opening, the product was defective. Never printed the ink test sheet or even got to connect to my phone! Had to return it!

    Not fancy or speedy. Cartridge won’t last long but not bad for the price you paid.

    The box indicates 1 yr. of ink included in the box, NOT TRUE!! There was hardly any color ink. I've only printed one sheet and I'm almost out of ink. The print quality is not crisp either. The colors are dull. Plus we had to connect to the internet via cable because it would not allow a wireless WIFI connection. I would not buy this product.

    Slower than an old dot matrix printer!

    Real Piece of Junk! Extremely slow; colors are very feeble; black only is actually quite acceptable. Difficult to connect to my local network. I gave up after wasting hours trying because I was not willing to jepordize numerous other device settings in my house. Would not pair with my IPhone either. I'm returning it ASAP.

    Difficult laptop setup, easy mobile setup

    The printer was easy to setup on my phone. You can use the QR code in the instruction manual and it will take you to the App Store so that you can download the app. The installation was quick and setup took less than minute. To test the color printing I took a picture and printed it. A full page of color print took about 5 minutes to print. It was pretty slow but the print quality was very good. It prints very quietly. When you select a high resolution picture to print it does take quite a bit of time for it to get sent to the printer. The setup on a laptop was a different story. It took more than 30 minutes and I finally had to use the install printer feature on my laptop rather than through the app. It was a frustrating process to use the app which didn’t work. It also requires you to download multiple apps in order to fully utilize the software. I was able to print using the laptop but it was a tedious process to get it setup. It also has a scanner which scans very well. You are able to save those scans in the app on your phone. My opinion of the printer is this: it is a good printer that gets the job done. It is slow and setup on a computer is horrendous, but easy and fast on a mobile device. If you need a printer to print from a mobile device this is a great option. But that is it. It comes with the inkvestment program where when you start to run out of ink, it will notify the company and the company will send you replacements for one year. If you do a lot of printing, this is a great option and worth the money. If you do not print much then it is not worth the cost because of the hassle with setup.

    VERY noisy!!! I had a Brother printer for years that I liked. This printer does not do double sided printing:( I do not like this printer!!!

    Rarely Works

    I'd rather use a cheap $80 printer. I have had issues with this printer since the day I purchased it. For the price it is not worth the hassle. I am hoping to send it back to the manufacture for a full refund because the return window has closed with BB
