Super Camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a professional photographer by any stretch of my imagination, however, I have been taking photographs since the late 60's when film was the order of the day. My first serious camera in the 70's was a Canon, then I migrated to Olympus and now I'm back to Canon. The EOS R is easy to set up and there are many options to choose from depending on your style of shooting. My type of photography is centered on nature and landscapes. My first full frame camera was the EOS 6D Mark II which took me a little bit getting use to. Which in hind sight, made learning the EOS R functions a little easier to understand. Still getting use to the slider bar which I have set up to work my ISO settings, but over all the camera as a whole is great. I am becoming more and more attached to the EOS R because of the operating capabilities and ease of set up. I like to shoot in the manual mode, so how the camera communicates with me is important. It is easy to understand in most cases very responsive.

My first mirrorless camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was having a hard time deciding to go with Canon, Nikon and Sony. I am so glad I didn't listen to the YouTube video reviews. I have only had this camera a month but it has not failed me in any way. I think there is room for improvement in the AF but the AF works great for wildlife and bird photography.

Great image quality.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my EOS R. But just few months later came the R5 and the R6 and i wish i had waited. But, still, loving my R. No regrets because R6 is crazy expensive than the R.

Great Camera perfect for Real Estate
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the EOS R for real estate and macro photography. So far I really love it. Design and build is good however the slider bar on the back is annoying. Easy to disable and I'm sure I will find a use for it someday since it is programable. Love the lens line up for this series and especially the 4K video and fold out viewer. I still prefer my 5DMKIII over this for because of the layout of the controls on back but seriously thinking of replacing that one with the R5 or R6.

Great camera for beginners
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a camera so I could share quality time with my son, who has a passion for photography. This camera makes it easy to join in on the fun based on how cool this camera is. He raves on the things you can do with it. I’m new to this, so its great to know I have a camera that I can grow into for years to come.

Never trusting pre owned descriptions again.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really wanted to grab this deal, but the camera was dirty, and had many scratches and dents. The lens was in the same condition and had a chip on the glass. I ended up going with a new Canon R6. Never wasting my time with a used camera again. The description was not accurate at all.

Perfect for me.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is perfect for my uses. Some will point out the cropped 4K, but for my purposes it doesn’t effect me. Great camera especially if you have prior Canons.

Great Camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this purchase. I choose the EOS R because of the excellent color straight out of the camera without the need of extensive correction in post. Highly recommend this camera to anyone looking to upgrade current gear but not ready to drop the "big" bucks on more expensive models.

6D to EOSR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a 6D before and wow ... the electronic viewfinder is a little strange at first but once you get used to it, you’ll have a hard time going back! Worth every penny, I love it! With the EF adapter you can use all your current lens collection.

Good Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 5Dm4 and 6D DSLR's , EOS-R is my first Canon FF mirrorless Camera. All works fine, however the image stabilization is not near 6 stops perhaps 3 f-stops, it is a bit bulky and much heavier then the Olympus mirrorless cameras. (Olympus on the other hand is MFT ) Also the dynamic range is not as good as the 5Dm4 otherwise it is good camera. I got this camera because I have already many Canon lenses, but I feel that the Nikon Z7 is better. So if you already have Canon glass then it is good addition and I would recommend to stay with the Canon line, and if not then check the Nikon.
