Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the EOS Rebel T6i's camera quality and ease of use, frequently praising its performance and user-friendliness. Many also appreciate the convenient touch screen and its effectiveness in various settings, including low-light conditions. While some find the camera somewhat heavy, the positive feedback on image quality and ease of operation outweighs this concern.

I purchased this camera to replace my old Canon XSi because I wanted an updated camera to take with me on my two week African safari trip. I wanted a camera that could take video as well as excellent pictures. I also chose the 18-135MM lens so I wouldn't have to keep changing between the standard 18-55MM lens and a telephoto lens. The 18-135MM provided the range I needed for the vast majority of my safari pictures and videos from wide angle to a modest zoom. There is a modest learning curve to figure out all of the features available with this camera. I especially like the touch screen to change many of the settings. I am very pleased with this camera and would highly recommend it.

I've been very happy with the purchase of the Canon T6i. The camera has excellent image quality, a good menu system, and all the options and features you could need. I'm very happy with the results I've been getting with the 18-135mm lens. It's great for long or short distances and performs well through this range. The combination of the lens and this body is working out well for me. Best Buy delivered on time and offered an extended warranty for the holidays. Job well done.

I would consider myself an advanced hobbyist photographer. The Rebel line suits my needs perfectly -- high quality photographs and affordability. I have been shooting with the t2i (which I have really enjoyed) for a number of years. During that time, I have kept track of Canon's upgrades in the Rebel line. This is the first camera I considered as having enough upgrades to put out the money for a new SLR camera. I am soooo happy with my new t6i. The high number of pixels make the shots extremely sharp. It performed well under poor lighting without a flash. I decided to pay a little bit more and get the package that included the 18-135mm lens. Good savings if you need that lens. Bottom line -- GREAT UPGRADE!!! One teeny tiny disappointment, and this is no reflection on the camera. There is no app to link the camera to a Windows phone. Phone's fault, not the camera's fault. Has anybody out there found a work-around?

Faster focus, better response, sharper images, more focus points, less noise on darker images. The list goes on and on but definitely worth the additional cash for a better investment.

I am a beginner at photography, and really only use my camera to take pictures of family for memories. However, it has been wonderful for my purpose. It takes the most beautiful pictures, and you can just never use your phone camera again. This is going to far outdo any point and shoot camera or phone. This camera produces a high quality image, and I am so happy with the purchase. I was shooting pics of my nieces and nephew on the trampoline in sport mode, and I have some spectacular images to get framed! It is so worth it to me to spend this money on something as priceless as memories.

i purchased this camera b/c i had a digital canon Rebel that was about 10 years old. i wanted an updated version that had video as well as the ability to send pictures to my phone without having to put on my computer first. The camera has been very similar to use--probably a little more camera than i needed, but i love to take action shots of my kids in sports. we also were just about to take a vacation out west and i wanted to use it for this. i am very pleased at how the pictures turned out. the one problem i had was figuring out how to download to my computer. after calling and realizing you have to disable the wifi on the camera before downloading, i figured it out! wish that was written on the instruction booklet page where is says to 'download' images to computer--apparently it is written on the wifi page. i think it is a very good camera and hope it lasts me another 10 years like my first one!!

Easy to use right out of the box. I was worried my lack of photography skills would make it hard to work this camera but it takes great pictures anyway. The lighting automatically adjusts so you get good photos even in low lighting without knowing anything about ISO settings. Very happy with my purchase.

This is such a versatile camera. I have been using Canon in my yearbook class for 20 years, and this iteration of the Rebel is FABULOUS! Great pictures, great videos, easy to learn, very intuitive, and great for users from beginner to expert.

It's a great camera with a fantastic lens. We upgraded from an older DSLR with the intention of adding modern technological conveniences like wireless connectivity. It takes beautiful images and has one more method for transferring these images. The body is smaller and lighter than our old camera and that takes some getting used to even though the difference is impressive out of the box.

I use my camera for commercial, family, and landscape photography. It works well in low light conditions for indoor photography. I took a beach sunset photo recently and had it printed in a 24x36 poster size and the resolution of the photo was amazing! I highly recommend downloading the app, it allows you to live stream from the camera to your phone.

Love this camera! Bought this camera for my first DSLR. It has so many features to choose from for settings and I love the live view settings. After playing around with the options for a couple days, I was successful taking pictures on a weekend vacation. Some friends thought I've been taking photos for a long time! Only downside is that the camera is a little heavier that I'd like, but for the fine detail and imaging it can provide, priceless.

I am by no means a photographer but do enjoy taking pictures. Since i bought this camera, i have been able to take good quality photos of my children instead of those boring school pictures that we get stuck with every year. It is easy to use, takes great photos and i love the fold out touch screen. I kinda wish i didnt buy with this lens as i love this lens but it doesnt work for every situation so some photos dont turn out well. However, i am still learning so that may be an operator problem. No regrets on buying this camera though! Very happy with this purchase!

I love the addition of the screen that rotates. Really good for vlogging, self portraits, and more. I love using this with self timer and remote. The camera is made to be more user friendly and I definitely can attest to that. The quality is impressive, and the lens is a good lens if you're looking to only be carrying one around with you. Definitely ywould recommend (:

My last camera was a Canon Rebel DSLR from 9 years ago. Couldn't believe the difference in technology with this new baby! 24 megapixels and takes amazing photos!! The camera - despite having many buttons and features- is easy to work. Video and photo quality are fantastic. I went to Best Buy looking for a new and better camcorder and the sales clerk suggested an improved DSLR as my last Rebel didn't take video. It was a win-win to get a better video camera AND a better still camera!
