I have an old Rebel xti from high school that I was desperately needing to upgrade. I wanted to stay in the Canon family and look for a camera that was in my price range and this camera definitely fit the bill. It is exactly what I need and has some really great upgrades from my last camera. I love the swivel screen for taking pictures above eye level. I would definitely recommend this camera if you are an avid photographer!

Bought this for a trip to Costa Rica and to replace my aging Rebel XT. Like the flip out screen and too many features. Minor concern about some of the reports of CMOS sensor defects that could show up under certain exposure conditions. However, Canon is aware an standing behind this issue and is fixing or replacing defective sensors in the small number of camera's affected.

I love this camera. The one I had previously was 8 years old and I didn't realize how bad the pictures were until I bought this one.

Great camera what more can I say. There's a reason it's rated the best in it's class. Very satisfied & this time I got the one with a video camera as well. One less item to carry. Great gift just got it for Christmas & love that I can use all my lenses & filters from my last model from 2003.

I have wanted a DSLR for years, and finally took the leap with the T6i. This camera is stunning, a beginner can take beautiful photos as soon as it is turned on. The wifi feature is also a huge plus, I didn't realize quite how helpful it was until after I purchased it. The camera is not just wifi capable, it creates its own hotspot for your phone to connect to. I highly recommend the T6i to anyone looking, it's worth it!
