Had a Canon pixma 640 for many many years and loved it. So this model seemed similar. Yet better, as it prints double sided (didn't think I cared about this feature but have used it already) and the cloud transfers scanned items to my laptop, no flash drive needed. Its quiet, and the gold color is a suttle and classy.

photos come out very shark and clear. Easy to use.

I use it to print everything, Papers, photos, the works....Wish it was a little faster for photos but I guess you can't rush quality. Overall very good printer, worth the amount unless you plan on just printing word processing things.

Love it- very easy to set up and came with exceptional amount of ink The quality of the pictures is excellent when using the program it comes with- very fun projects! In short so happy with my purchase!! Also, when you run out of one color the printer will continue to let you print -that was huge to me!!

This is the second Canon printer I've used in the MG series. Excellent performance ( no repairs needed), easy paper storage, simple to follow instructions on making a copy ( color or black/white), and printing from computer from my MG6220. This model has same functionality with some extra bells & whistles.

Bought this for my wife for printing out Photos only. We had a Kodak Hero 9.1 that died. Like any printer we were trying to get the most bang for our buck on the ink. Ink is a bit costly on this one but the photos come out crisp and vibrant. It can support numerous paper sizes up to 8 1/2 X 12.

Nice mechanics (I like the self opening output tray), reliable and good photo quality. One star removed due to problems installing Canon proprietary network. Poor documentation, poor error recovery, poor explanation as to purpose and benefits. Fortunately, functions well enough with bonjour.

Printer is everything I required and more. This printer is unbelievable and the price was the lowest I could find.

Great printer, setup wasn't too straight forward for cable-less setup but all in all does what is expected of it.

Love the printer however it is hard to find ink for it in the normal places as most do not carry it....

Quite good for a compact printer. My pixma mx922 got the dreaded error code about the print head, which was $50 to buy a replacement. At that price we didn't want to chance it, so brought the dead beast in for recycling. Purchasing anything for me that costs more than $20 is an ordeal because I research research research. We were going to buy another mx922 since this one made it two years, which is longer than most cell phones, but this was on sale for a comparable price. After much deliberation I'm pleased with our replacement. It's quieter, and hopefully the gray ink tank helps, since the miss is an artist and we sell prints made at home. The downside is, now we have to buy six ink tanks. I hope it's worth it haha. If you want a compact printer, this one is great. It's basically the mx922 without a fax machine or auto scanning tray for documents. Scanner still works great, you just have to change pages manually. Wireless phone connectivity is a breeze, print from your phone no problem. All in all, very pleased.

Had some difficulty getting the printer hooked up to my surface, ie through my wifi. Ended up having to buy and download a program to choose the driver that I probably don't need. That being said, I love the printer. Awesome photos come out if it , which was my reason for buying it.

Uses up too much ink. Did not think it would run out so quickly.

So far, I've only printed and scanned a document. The only problem I've had is using the software and figuring our how to change where the scanned document is saved. But that should get easier the more I use the product. It was pretty easy to set up and get working right out of the box.

The color balance for pictures is wonderful and very easy to use

I have tried a lot of printers for home and office but this is the best ever! Easy set up and easy to use!
