Great text and photo quality, wireless, auto document feeder, fast scanning/copying, two sided print, print from your phone, etc. All for under a hundred bucks! Buy it and you won't regret it. I have owned for 4 months and I bought a second one for my father and he loves it.

I had a previous Canon printer for many years and when I bought this one, I upgraded to the next level up. I primarily use it for half sheet shipping labels so I can't talk about photo quality. It's excellent for black and white text. I got 304 half sheet shipping labels on the one large black cartridge. Cons - It makes a lot of noise. Second bad feature is that it asked me to change cartridges when I hit about 140 prints. Obviously, the cartridge was over half full - but the reminders to change cartridges proved annoying.

Compared to my previous Canon PIXMA MX892, this model also produces good quality B&W documents and color photos. The construction of this model seems to be less sturdy , however. The MX 922 is noisier and seems to guzzle ink faster than the MX892. My general experience with Canon printers is that they last for 2 - 3 years after which time there are problems with color printing, i.e. fading color to no color from one of the color choices. In general, I do like the color quality when the printer is working optimally. The cost of OEM printer cartridges remains outrageous, in general, for any make of printers. The original cost of the printer is acceptable. The profit for the manufacturers is made in the recurring sale of ink cartridges post-sale! What a racket. The only remedy for that is to buy quality after-market ink cartridges.

We went back and forth trying to pick a home printer that will work for all the family needs. this one fits it. the price is not bad either. the ink that comes with it is still working fine. but will need replacement after the holidays when we start printing more pictures. we have all our devices connected via air print and works great. the setup was easy as well. if you can still find this printer, grab it. you wont be disappointed.

I came from using a Kodak Hero 9.1 which was a good printer but it ate the ink like a starving dog. With four of us in college I needed something else. I settled on the Canon MX 922, so far it has been great, good ink usage and very good print quality. No errors whatsoever, only one thing is that it is a bit loud, but I can live with that if I don't spend a fortune on ink.

This thing prints great black and white and photo prints. I like how I don't need to waste ink and can purchase black ink separate from color ink. It's not the fastest printer but it's perfect for home office and school work. It's wireless connectivity makes it a cinch to add to my home network. I can practically print anything from my laptop anywhere in my home.

Ordered the printer on Black Friday so that's why I can say it's a great deal. Happy with the printer speed and photo quality. Had the Canon selphy photo printer and this one prints the same quality, just faster. Plus it's air print compatible and is a multi printer. It can get a little noisy if you print late at night and the cover door isn't already down.

Canon has brought All-In-One technology to a whole new level with the PIXMA 922 Printer!! It is so easy to set up and put onto the network! The one frustrating thing though is that it takes a longer time to print the first picture. However, after it has gone through all the systems checks that first time, the print speed is very good!

So far, I really like this product. I was upgrading from an older Canoscan printer/scanner so I expected that I would like it. It was very easy to set up wirelessly with all of my devices, including PC, Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I really love being able to print pictures so easily from my iPhone or iPad. The automatic sheet feeder for scanning and duplex printing work very well. There are a few minor things that could be better. For some reason the guides for the sheet feeder do not allow you to insert a single envelope so you have to remove the paper from the lower cassette, insert an envelope, and adjust the guides. The printer is also pretty noisy, large, and takes a wild to repair itself for printing if you haven't printed in a while.

I purchased this printer because I wanted more of a photo printer. I had an epson workforce, worked great, but photos didn't look as good as I wanted, especially black and white prints. This canon printer was very easy to get running, had no issues detecting wifi, my mac had no issues finding the printer. Photos look much better. I did have 1 issue after 2 weeks of having the printer, we had a paper jam and to make a longer story short, I ended up returning it to best buy and got a same model replacement. So far this replacement has had no issues. If you like to print photos, you need to atleast have 5 cartridges. It even has the ability to print on cd's. Haven't done that yet, the cd tray is hidden under the 4x6/5x7 paper tray. Yes it has 2 trays, the one just mentioned and another below for 8.5x11.

I had the previous model of this printer years ago and always loved it. One day I plugged it and it stopped working. I was in the store a few days later and it was on sale for a good price so I grabbed one. It has a few new features like faster print speed and a second paper tray which comes in handy. Besides that, it's helpful to have a document feeder since I scan a lot of documents. A lot of similar priced models don't have that feature.

Excellent printer for the cost. Only issue is it is a bit noisier than our old PIXMA and except for that I would rate it a 5 star. This is way better than an HP we bought a year ago that took 5 minutes to start printing. This is great and no issues printing from Apple products. Also moderately easy to set up initially.

Purchased this as my previous Canon MX882 died & I needed a replacement printer asap. This was on sale at the time & felt it was the best option for what was avaiable & the price paid. Printer driver installation on 4 Windows 10 computers from the CD went ok, had the typical some times it works the 1st time some times it don't with Canon drivers but eventually got all 4 to work. Printer is currently connected via WIFI. Still on the 1st set of ink cartridges it came with, so I have not printed too much yet. The quality has been as expected. It can take several minutes listening to it make all sorts of internal movements before the 1st page starts to print, again seems typical of Canon printers. (so hope you are not in a hurry) Can't comment yet on Fax or scanning. If you are looking to get this for CD / DVD printing, have not tried that yet. The CD tray is on the underside of the photo paper tray if you are looking for it as that seems to be a common question, "where is the tray?". Hopefully I will get more life out of this then my previous MX882, but as printers seem to be disposable after a few years, I just won't have as much ink on hand so when this one dies I won't be out as much $$$.

The Cannon 922 printer is easy to setup, prints great pictures and documents. The copy feature is fast and reproduces with clarity. The fax feature is easy to use and provides a listing of documents faxed. Overall, I think the printer great and has a speak look. The dual paper trays are convenient.

This is an amazing printer that prints over Wifi, prints double sided, has a tray just for photo paper (photo quality is excellent), scans, copies, faxes, USB plugin, prints from anywhere and more and I'm really satisfied with my whole experience. I think that model that replaces this can be a bit sleeker and feature a touchscreen for a 5/5 rating.

I bought this printer mostly because I wanted a scanner and my old printer which was made mostly for photo printing did not have one. The printer aspect of the MX922 is pretty good, above average for a small business printer like this one. The picture quality is good enough for everyday sharing and the ink use is very reasonable as well. If you want a photo printer you shouldn't get this printer, but I think the average person could deal with this being there only printer. The scanner aspect on the MX922 is what really makes the unit stand out from the competition. The biggest feature is the 35 sheet duplex automatic document feeder, which means you can scan 35 double sided sheets (70 pages) without any user intervention. I scanned a couple thousand sheets over a few days, ran into very few problems, and got very good quality out. I was scanning very thin sheets, probably the thickness of cheap notebook paper, and ran into only a handful of jams or double feeds. This was on the fastest setting, Compact PDF, which can do 35 sheets/70 pages in about 15 minutes. Outstanding performance for an all-in-one as far as I'm concerned. I didn't use the fax at all or even set it up. The copy feature seems to work very well, and can scan and copy a double sided page to a double sided copy automatically. Needless to say, I'm very happy I got the MX922. I bought it during a $99.99 sale (which is run frequently on this unit), and although I don't know if is the best choice at full price, at sale price I don't think there is a better printer out there.

Our previous photo printer broke and we were looking for a reasonably priced replacement. This came up as higher quality than what we previously had before, included more features, and at a cheaper price that what we had previously paid. It was very easy to setup and use and we are very happy with the quality photos that it prints.

Purchased as a replacement to our epison- fast print, easy to fax, scan and easy set up also sending from our phone to print was a no brainer. Not only did we buy this for our office, we bought a second for our den so we weren't running up and down stairs.
