We owned a Pixma 922, we loved it but the printer head kept going out and finally it just died. Wanted to get something comparable but didnt have the money. So we bought this smaller printer tr4720 and we ABSOLUTELY love it. Printing from my phone is much easier with this printer than with our Pixma MX922.
If you have to get another printer, truly consider this printer. Its only drawback is no light in the display window.

Great Printer for Home Use!"
Very easy to set up and use. Prints are clear and fast. Perfect for everyday tasks like documents and photos. Good value for the price. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent printer for a reasonable price. Its compact size makes it easy to fit into smaller spaces and the refillable ink is AWESOME. I can easily see how much ink is left and how evenly it’s using the colors. Because mine is set up on a bookshelf, i don’t not enjoy the rear paper loader. The paper flops over the printer because it doesn’t have space to lean back. The small display screen is also tough to read and you have to click through a lot of screens for the various functions. Setting up WiFi is particularly frustrating the small keypad. But overall I would highly recommend this for an excellent budget printer!
Pros:
Comes in white or black
Fillable ink
Compact size
Cons:
Rear paper loader
Small screen and tiresome navigation

Overall, it’s a good product and works well once everything is set up. However, connecting it to the computer can be very tedious and time-consuming. I’ve also had some issues getting it to connect with the app. While I can manage things manually without much trouble, the computer-to-printer connection takes longer than it should.

This is an inexpensive printer and as such works as it should. Setup is easy and prints are good. There are many printers out there that are superior to this one and they cost a lot more too. Great for home probably not too good in an office setting.

Easy set-up, good print quality, and easy to use. sending from multi-devices is very handy, my wife and I both use it and send from different rooms in the house it makes it very handy.

Surprisingly a very solid printer. Seems to go through ink surprisingly fast but a solid machine if you don’t print super often.
I have personally gone through 1000-1400 prints and replaced the ink 3 times. I think those are average numbers.
The scanning works FLAWLESSLY and the connectivity and ease of setup is very good for the price.

I recommend this printer to anybody looking for a printer/scanner for the basics. I wouldn't recommend for an office or someone who is constantly printing tons of documents as it isn't the fastest. It was easy to setup but the written directions aren't the best I would watch a Youtube instructional video.
Overall I recommend. It does what it is supposed to do and I was able to set it up in about 20 minutes.

Things I like: It works.
Things I don't like:
1) It has 2 ink holders, black and color and they feel annoyingly cheap--basically fancy plastic clips that fold down with a bit of difficulty for you to put the ink cartridges in and then snap back up. They may be very durable but visually and tactilly they feel the cheapest of about any printer I've had over the past 30 years.
2) The tray that holds the paper sticks out about 5.5" from the front of the machine--on my previous cheaper multi-function printers it was contained fully inside the printer. It does make it easier to load paper but it does add a projection space-challenged users may not appreciate.
Other observations: the included printer cartridges gave a lot of copies--I don't actually print very much but my 7 year old grandson loves to draw using Paint and print stuff and I was very surprised by how much he was able to print before the Black went empty. The color is still good but shows low. Have no idea how many pages he's printed. I'm going to guess if your main use is printing text docs you're going to get a lot of pages from these cartridges.
Have not used the scanner yet so no comment and will never use the fax so no comment.
