Its a good printer for the price. I had Canon PIXMA earlier but a diferent one, so was surprised to find that this one does not have a paper holding tray. However, my printing needs are very minimal at this point, so I can live without a tray, but when I do have to change, I will ensure that the next one does have a tray. Missed returning this one back in time, so have to live with it now. Makes me wonder why Canon would take the tray away considering the previous two Canon printers that I purchased did have it.

My former printer lasted 25 years! So buying a new one was traumatic for me. My salesperson was very helpful in reassuring me and answering the questions I had. Setting this printer up was easy. I chose not to hook it up to WiFi at this time, and I was able to use the cable from my old printer to connect it to my Chromebook. They also sell those cables at Best Buy if you need one. The ink cartridges came with it and they were easy to insert. From opening the box to printing a page was less than five minutes. The words on the page are crisp and dark. I also printed a calendar with colors on the page, and the colors were true and vibrant. It's very easy to use, and I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to set up and the ink cartridge situation has been simplified for me over my previous Canon. Compact, fast. Not as quiet as my previous Canon and has auto shut-off that has taken a little getting used to.

This has been a fantastic little printer and scanner. Easy set up to my Mac computer.

Pretty easy to get set up on my network. Print quality is adequate for my purposes. It should have separate trays for 8X11 and 4x6 paper.

All my printers that I purchased in the past have been clunky and hard to set up. This one was practically plug and play. Not to mention all the features it has are an amazing value.

I absolutely love the printer, however, after a year it has started to make weird noises, has become impossible to find parts for, and cannot be replaced. It is easy to use, comprehend, and can do almost anything.

This was super easy to setup and connects to all my devices (MacBook Air, iPhone, tablet, and husband's HP laptop). Connecting to my devices was seamless, which is a great perk! Prints great and serves my purpose.

Great Printer for the price I had an epson before this which ran it's course this one can print more then that epson which wasn't very much before telling me my ink is low. Only complaint I have is they should of made the monochrome LCD screen light up would help to see the words on the screen better.

this is a good printer that doesn't have any AI features that require me to create yet another online account. Its a printer it prints things, it doesn't talk to me it doesn't connect to alexa or anything else. It doesn't try to guess what I want , I say print this and it print.

The ease of setting up this printer is such a pleasure. All I did was scan the QR code that came with it and I was able to set my phone up within six minutes (new phone learning curve). Then I picked up my iPad and was able to set that up within five minutes (includes the time it took to download the canon print app). The first thing I printed was a picture of a purple rose and it came out very nice. I didn’t have photo paper so I use regular copy paper and it still had beautiful saturation. I can’t wait to see how well it does on the ink usage. But I am quite impressed with how easy it is to use. I have it right now on the dining room table and I’m considering putting it in my bedroom on a solid surface somewhere. It’s not like the old days where it’s wired in and you’re stuck at the desk with it. The Flatbed scanner on top has a nice touch that some would say as a flaw. The lid gives a little bit which in my opinion is great if you’re trying to copy a page from the middle of a book. You don’t want a rigid lid that doesn’t work with you when you’re trying to press down and get that good copy. So far so good! And before I bought it I noticed people complaining in the reviews about the lack of a manual, you really don’t need one. It talks you through every step right on the screen, literally tells you what to do. Overall I’m quite impressed. Let’s hope it lasts as long as my previous printer did.
