Excellent camera for a kayaking bicycling fool like me! It goes everywhere with me and takes fantastic photos. Even in my wiggly kayak I can get get awesome wildlife photos using my action option. Quick video recording is a snap now when that ever elusive manatee decides to surface! I went from SLR to digital point and shoot in 2007 and never regretted it. No more bulky backpacks and drybags. I recommend a hard sided case which I bought at Best Buy-brand is called Case Logic.

Found the camera easy to use with lots of special picture options including fast repeat action shots. Pic quality is awesome for the price point - have already recommended to friends.

Purchased this camera for my daughter and she loves it. Bright clear vibrant colors. Easy to use. She loves the telephoto lens and the video capability. Has only had it several weeks and was surprised that the battery went down as quickly as it did. She was not sure if she left the camera on by mistake so that is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5. The verdict is still out on the battery. She love the fact that she can carry the camera in her purse all the time. It is small and light weight but clear sharp pictures even with telephoto fully extended.

I would recommend this camera as it takes great pictures and is very easy to use. I am still sorting through all the great pictures that were taken during the holiday season.

The Canon - PowerShot SX710 HS 20.3-Megapixel Digital Camera - Red, is great at every photo opt I have given it. From taking pictures in a moving car: out the front or side windows to ultimate zoom(need to have a steady surface or tripod). Videoing is easy and great(have great video's of clouds moving over the top of the Rock of Gibraltar while standing there). I love the color of the camera also

I always have ,had and will have CANON camera. It does excellent pictures. I think it's practical to have pocket camera, and I think it's better then cell phone cameras.

Overall, I like the camera. Only complaints I have are 1) it's kind of on the big side and 2) I'm not used to having to manually flip up the flash when it's needed. Other than that, it takes nice pictures and has an unbelievable optical 30X zoom.

I previously owned an earlier model of this camera. I loved it so I new this one would fit my needs. Great auto functions, clear pictures and easy to point and shoot!

this wasn't the camera i wanted but i bought it and i didn't return it, i decide to keep it because it takes very good quality pictures, good video, easy to carry on your pocket and great zoom, perfect for concerts because you can hide it easily!

Camera is small enough to fit in pocket, but also large enough for someone with large hands to use. Use for sporting events, as well as night time events. Good pictures for the size

I wanted to get a point and shoot that would have a fast shutter speed. It's hard to always have my Canon DSLR along. It takes great pictures and easy to use.

I love the fact that this camera's flash does not automatically pop up so I don't have to hold it down with a finger. The PowerShot SX700 was recommended to me by a friend who got awesome concert shots ... when I needed a new camera, it was the SX710 ... I have been delighted with the low light photos that I have taken, and will continue to recommend this camera to friends.

Took this camera to Augusta National to capture pictures of the practice rounds. It was easy to operate, convenient (fit in my pocket nicely), fast (started up quickly) and took excellent pictures. Wi-Fi is a bit complicated to properly set up - wish there was an easier way to get it set up. But once set up, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work as advertised. Very pleased with the purchase.

Light, easier to use than I thought. Jumped right into using without reading manual. Battery last almost 2 full days when constantly using camera (like when on 8-10 hour tours). Takes awesome picture! Only thing I don't like is that picture usually always turns out better without the flash, so having the flash seems pointless and the video recording button is too close to the photo taking button.

This camera is one of the finest devices I own. It handles multiple functions and takes excellent photos. It's small enough to carry and hardly weighs anything. Shooting videos is quite a big bonus. I couldn't be happier. I installed a memory card, so it will hold a couple thousand photos. The wi-fi feature is excellent and makes things easy. The store where I purchased this product had a large selection of great devices as well as friendly salespeople.

I replaced another Canon Power Shot with this one and love it so far. Lot of great features and great for taking hiking or just keep in our Jeep!

This camera takes great pictures and is nice and small. The WiFi photo transfer works OK, but setting up the app on an iPhone is a real pain. I haven't tried out the NFC feature since I don't have a compatible device.

The camera was used for a concert atthe verizon theater, had good video/pics quality. Also like that you could zoom in while recording. Good pics while the action mode. My friends even liked my video quality. Good battery life too! It lasted throughout most of the concert since i practically recorded the whole event. Brought an extra battery just in case i needed it and did change towards the 2/3 of the 1.75 hrs of the concert it wasn't a 2 hour concert.

Very small size and weight makes it a very convenient travel camera. The quality of the photos and videos is fine. I eliminate the need to carry two bulky cameras with this pocket sized one.
