I love it. This is my third one after purchasing NEST and I am very happy with it. It was recommend to me after having another NEST product go belly up. Sensi has an app and I love this option. I have three floors and it's PERFECT to adjust temperature from the comfort of my bed.

I didn't like the product. However, the thermostat drops the Wi-F signal almost immediately after connecting. It defeats the purpose. I bought it for remote use. My router is literally next to it. The temperature reading wasn't correct either.

Horrible device. Unfortunately I missed the return window. It changes the set temp. I will set it to 78, starts to feel warm and recheck and its set at 83.

Had to return as it needed to be used with a "smart house/Nest/Alexis" setup which is unnecessary gor my household.

Worked well for 1-2 months and then started having wifi issues and also possibly damaged my controller board for the furnace.

I have been wanting a smart thermostat for some time, and yes, this is my first experience with one; but, after getting this up and running I can easily say I am quite happy not only with how it works, but the setup and the design as well. For me, one of the things that kept me away was the thought of installation. Here, I think they did an excellent job of making that as painless as possible. I did check some compatibility issues beforehand, but other than that I mostly went in blind. Sensai, and the app, guides you the process from start to finish, and I had zero issues getting everything connected and attached. Of course, your situation may be different, but I do think most would be fine given how well they explain the process. Once physically connected and attached, getting connected to my network was also a simple, no issues process for me. From there I got everything into my Google account, and I was good to go. While I do think Sensai has done a solid job with their app, and the Google integration is good, part of me wonders how tight the integration would be with a Google thermostat. That is a thought for another time. As for the unit itself, simply, I think it looks great. As to my above point, one of the main reasons I preferred this model was the design. Simple. Clean. Black. Nice fonts. Nice graphics. Perfect for me. All in all, I could not be happier with how it looks on my wall. Build-wise, it is more of the same. It is a nice weight, seems solid, and I can’t imagine I will ever really have any issues. The unit is easy to use, on the unit itself, or via the app. For me though, and despite everything I have mentioned and liked so far, the main reason for this move was for better control. Being able to schedule, have routines, and to simply be able to have control when out of the house was what I was looking for. Not only for a better peace of mind, and for environmental concerns, but also to potentially save some money. Time will tell, but I am optimistic. Ultimately, I really like this thermostat. Install was easy, it looks great, it is simple to use, it works with Google, and it gives me the control I was looking for. All in all, I could not be happier.

The Emerson Sensi Lite smart thermostat is a great smart thermostat with lots of options for programming and with an easy installation making it easy to get into the smart home scene. Prior to getting this I would highly recommend checking that this thermostat is compatible with your specific heating/cooling unit otherwise you can run into issues or this will just not work with your house. Otherwise, as long as this is compatible with your house, the installation and setup is a breeze, the application will walk you through step-by-step on installing the thermostat and getting it set up for use. Once you have the unit installed you then have the option of programming schedules with several different options including being able to drop the temperature when no one is in the house and raising it as you come home. For me, with my wife home most of the day I just set up a simple schedule to keep the house cool during the day and slightly less cool at night when the temperature is already down. I really like the look of the thermostat itself and I think it fits in really well with my house and looks good without being intrusive. If anyone is looking for a smart thermostat I really think this is a great device for anyone.
