This is an excellent video editing software. It is extremely easy to learn to use, very intuitive learning curve. Easily add and edit video, sound, music backgrounds, and titles. There are some great transitions, you can add a lot of effects, and it exports to a lot of different formats.

Really like the product and the support staff was very helpful and easy to understand. BUT, support window extremely short. Learn all you can in 30 days or less after that it costs money. I understand that support window can't stay open forever but 30 days really!

Good Program for video editing not that hard to use. Not bad in price compared to others

I bought this as an impromptu gift. The spouse does video editing on the comp & had been using movie maker... I got tired of hearing how awful it was & that so many other people were using this product. I looked online on bestbuy.com & found it on sale. Purchased it ryte then!! It arrived at the house less than a week later & I haven't heard a single complaint since...!!! Apparently it's pretty easy to catch on to & has a lot of attributes & attractions.

I purchased this software to teach myself basic video editing. It appears to be sophisticated enough to keep me confused, I mean engaged for some time. The tutorials are useful and the pdf manual helps a lot. Online help is also available. I intend to grow into this process and was looking for entry level power. Got it.

I was looking forward to using this product because of its rating/reviews on various websites. I had been using Roxio Easy Media Creator and was looking for a program that didn't tax my computer's resources the way Roxio did. I really appreciated Roxio's capabilities for various editing and rendering features/options but the rendering was very slow. Cyberlink touted its editing and rendering options including the ability to customize settings and features. However, I have yet to find any feature that is truly customizable by the end user. Cyberlink's VideoStudio would be good for someone who doesn't want to make a whole lot of decisions, just press a few buttons and go. I also do not like how it adds to a video's file size. I have tried rendering over a dozen movies. When I migrate them from my camera they are one size. There is something within Cyberlink's software where the compression of a video file is altered. When I import them into Cyberlink their size is more than doubled. A 1 hr 30 minute movie from my camera that I used to be able to fit on a standard DVD now requires a double layered DVD. DL DVDs are more expensive and not all DVD players recognize them. It has been a frustration after all the work of making my home movies into DVDs only to not be able to play them on our DVD player. I am also disappointed with the help files both within the software and online. The program did not come with an owners manual. I had to go to their website and download it as a pdf file. Many of the things the help file says the program can do - it can't such as customizing the menus and chapters when rendering a DVD. The software comes with pre-designed menu options including the background audio. These cannot be customized even though the help file says they can be. This one just didn't do it for me. I will keep using Roxio.

Program lives up to advertised claims.more than enough facility for every job.

So far I have used it a few times... seems to have a lot of options to choose from. Need to use it more to be able to give a more accurate review.. I have used 4 different video editing programs and they all seem to be about the same as far as the way they are programed and function.

Making a video with this program is much easier than others tried

Had the older version. This version has more features. Like this software for home videos etc. Easy to use

Got this for my son to use as he is has been in to making music mixes and video. He said he loves the program and uses it all the time. Easy to use

Does not come with manual which you need right off the bat. Manual is in a pdf file and Adobe Acrobat does mot work right with Win 8.1 which makes using this a real pain.

Great program, just don't download service pack1, keep freezing my computer when trying to produce a video.

I used Microsoft's Movie Maker and it generally did what I needed, but when I needed to do more this program was easy to set up and start using

I would recommend this for any body this is easy to use. I use it for my business. and is great.

good value for price. should be offered at sale price more often

Have made two videos so far. Lots of fun. Hope to do tons more.

I installed this, and all it did was crash (several times). Finally got it to run for a few moments; total disappointment.

I mainly bought this software for making photo slideshows to use doing credits at the end of dvds.
