Great keyboard I bought it for my son. It looks really cool with the different colors that glow. It’s also easy to clean if u get crumbs in it,

Pros: - Overall solid build quality and attractive design. - Cherry MX switches. - RGB Backlit, so you can have a rainbow, or if you're like me, a static color of your choice (and if you don't want to keep the iCUE software installed, you can save your lighting profiles to the keyboards onboard storage and then uninstall iCUE) - Detachable wrist rest with a two-sided magnetic rubberized surface (one side is smoother, the other side is more textured/grippy). - Six macro keys (that I'll personally never use), media controls, a volume "slider" (for lack of a better word), and an integrated USB port. - Comes with a key cap puller and a few extra key caps (WASD, etc.) with a textured surface like the macro keys and space bar. Cons: - Due to the positioning of the LED that illuminates each keycap (it's at the "top" of the switch), backlight coverage is noticeably uneven on any key with letters or symbols on its lower half. - Cherry MX Speed switches definitely require an adjustment period for anyone used to more tactile feedback—they don't have that tactile "bump" or distinct clicking sound you get from other switches and they have a very short actuation distance so it's easy to register an input accidentally until you get used to it (I still do it somewhat regularly after a few weeks). It can make using the keyboard a bit awkward at first. - The integrated USB Hub only has one port, which is better than nothing and is useful for plugging in my wireless mouse dongle, but it feels like a keyboard in this price range should have two ports. Overall I'm quite satisfied with this keyboard. The main thing I would caution any prospective buyer about is that they may not like the Cherry MX Speed switches, so if possible, see if any nearby stores that sell gaming keyboards might have a display model you can try out. Six macro keys is more than I need because I never really use them, but it may not be enough for some people (e.g. heavy MMO players).

If you like the feel of a mechanical keyboard than this is for you. I'm not a gamer but I like for quick switches. RGB lights are cool too.

Originally tried the Corsair K60. Both models I got had defective spacebars that would register multiple times after a week - trying the alcohol cleaning trick did nothing. Shame as I really liked the keyboards otherwise. The K95 has held up for a month so far without the same issues so hopefully it stays that way. It has more features which I do not use such as dedicated macro keys and a volume wheel. A star off because this spacebar is not as comfortable as the K60 (but the plus is it doesn't double type). I also wish you could swap lighting profiles directly on the keyboard instead of having to get dedicated software. The wrist mat also collects dust and particles much more readily than the K60. Overall though it's not too bad and should serve most people well. Overall though, not a bad keyboard.

Have had this keyboard for almost a year now and I can safely say that the price was worth it. I don't remember how much of a discount it was at but I remember I bought it on sale because I've always wanted a mechanical keyboard and heard this was one of the best. So far, it feels great to type and my WPM has even improved into the 70s now. The only thing I don't like is how thick the USB cable to connect it is but that's just a personal thing.

    Best Gaming Keyboard EVER....

I originally was thinking about getting myself the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile gaming keyboard but when I seen the extra 6 programmable keys on the left hand side of this Corsair K95 keyboard I figured this would run way better and also give me way more options during gameplay on certain games than the other one i was currently looking into because of the extra keys and what i was going to be utilizing those extra 6 programmable keys cause I for sure wanted something that was going to make gaming even more exciting and more fun during gameplay. I have found that having those extra keys has not only been fun and interesting during some games but also has helped make some of the games more enjoyable and playable because of being able to do more functions and more features with the extra 6 keys that are also able to be programmed for things as simple as throwing a grenade or also some things as fun or as simple as reviving teammates and making the game easier sometimes. Plus I'm a guy and as most woman know guys love to push more buttons and everything so when i noticed i had the opportunity to get a gaming keyboard that had more buttons it was an obvious choice to be made and was a no brainer instantly right from the get go. Also the price was $139.99 and the price of the Corsair K70 was previously priced at $159.99 so why not make the Wifey happy and go the cheaper route as well as get the better of the two keyboards and than I got lucky and was able to price match again a few days later and get another $12.01 back when they had dropped the price down to $129.99 through bestbuy.com so overall it ended up being a great purchase as well as cheaper than most of the other gaming keyboards out there currently... I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone that's currently looking for a great keyboard overall.

When compared to other keyboards, this keyboard really stands out in many different ways. The build of the keyboard is excellent the switches feel so nice to type on, and the armrest that conveniently attaches to the keyboard is very comfortable and is in just the right place. However, this keyboard does have two noticeable defects. For starters, the macro keys on the left side of the keyboard offset the entire keyboard to the right so if you are transitioning from another gaming keyboard without macro keys it will take some time to adjust. Second, the detachable armrest is attached with plastic (unlike magnetically such as the SteelSeries keyboards) so if you are not careful it will easily break off and you will not be able to attach it back. This keyboard is very great although not perfect

Good value when on sale. Keys are quick and otherwise meets expectations. The only possible weakness is in the spacebar IMO. It gets used a lot and depending on the scenario, that can lead to fatigue and we have actually had one break and Corsair was a pain to deal with. While they offer a great warranty you need a Supreme Court litigator to have them agree to claim. But issues are limited and this will be the third of this brand I have purchased, all of which remain functional.

Excellent mechanical keyboard. Very well built and the LEDs are beautiful. The software is the only part that is not great. Clunky and not very intuitive. Change that and this keyboard is one of the best to get.

Hands down one of the best gaming or regular keyboard on the market. The K100 or K95 XT might even be better but I got this during a 35% discount from Awesome Best Buy. At that price point, nothing comes close. 6 stars on build quality. Feels great to type and game with. If you are not an RGB lighting fan, you can easily turn it off. Some people think it is a little big but I find it no larger than any other full size keyboard. Highly recommended.

This is actually the second keyboard (identical) that we bought. We have two young members of the family (12-years old) that are now going to be "If he gets one, I want one" kind of kids. Our first purchase in July has led to us needing to hurry and buy the second. We will 100% say that if you have a young gamer needing gifts for Christmas - buy this now - you will be thanked over and over for it.
