So small on the outside, huge on the inside!! Moved all my files from my old 2TB hdd external drive to this mighty little mouse. Small enough to throw in my pocket but enough space to store 10s of 1000s of photos all my movies music and more. Still have 900gb free, cannot wait to fill it up.

Very happy with the speed and compatibility of this drive. It's super for moving large volumes of files between a PC and a phone or tablet, MUCH faster than any standard USB thumb drive and low enough power use so that it works fine just plugging into a phone USB C port.
I liked it so much that I picked up the 4TB version too.

This is my 1st SSD drive, the speed difference between this and my several Non SSD disks is amazing, what takes other discs an hour to back up my Macs this one was done in under 5 minutes. Had 1 issue that caused me to have to deal with a software issue but it's been fine since. I've read about reliability issues so I am keeping an eye on this

The physical bulk of external storage devices has been reduced while storage capacity has increased over the years. Crucial is a leader in the reduction of physical size and increased storage capacity, providing stable external storage in smaller devices at a great price. GO CRUCIAL!

Ive owned alot of drives over the years, both SSDs and HDDs. Alot make a ton of Advertisements about their speed, and I roll my eyes and laugh. THIS ONE THOUGH, this one is fast. Really fast. I don't know if the speed is close to the advertised speed, but I know its faster than the NVME drives I bought for my laptop, and I didn't cheap out for them. Just make sure to use a proper cable, or the speed tanks into the ground, had to special order a long cable since none of the other cables were up to snuff.

reliable, perfect size, fast transfer speed drive. Comes with Acronis software to help do additional tasks (details on official website) great for many photo and video uses. Read/Write speeds up to 1,050MB/s depending on specs of hardware being used with it.

Super fast and compact. Honestly even smaller than I thought it was going to be. It comes with a very short usb-c connector, but it works perfectly for me.

Great SSD. I have this Velcro attached with command strips to my ROG ally X’s killswitch kickstand and it has been fast, and reliable running games with windows 11 over usbc.

I had been trying to use a My Passport to free up space on my phone from all of my photos. I was having difficulty with the process so I pulled up a UTube video on how to save my photos over to the device. On the UTube video it was showing the Crucial Pro Series X9 Pro device and how easy it was to use that device for my photo storage instead. So I went to Best Buy & bought it and have been using it since. It is so much easier, quicker, & less confusing for me to use. I highly recommend it!

I've been relying on the Crucial X9 Pro to handle my video editing file backups, and I must say it's been a worthy investment. When dealing with hefty video files, its rapid read and write speeds combined with the convenience of the USB-C interface have significantly slashed the time it takes to transfer data, and at this point I've even started storing some main libraries on this without any performance decline.
I also appreciate its rugged and robust design that lends a sense of security – I often carry it around in a backpack, and knowing that it can withstand a bit of rough handling is nice.
In a nutshell, the Crucial X9 Pro has emerged as a dependable and high-performing external SSD catering to the needs of video editors and content creators like myself. Its speed, sturdiness, and data security features coalesce to offer a compelling solution for maintaining the safety and accessibility of video projects, both during travel and in day-to-day usage. If you're in the market and you want something that's not big, has excellent capacity then look no further!
