I like it. I’ve been using this external drive for a while now, and it’s been great. The setup was super easy—just plug it in and it’s ready to go. Transfer speeds are fast, whether I’m moving large video files, music projects, or just doing backups.

Very convenient portable storage. It has fast read/write speeds. Build quality is nice and compact. Bought on sale for around $130 in December of 2024. Feel like I got a great deal.

Needed more storage space for photo back up and had previously used an HDD USB-A 3.0 external drive. Switching to this SSD was a great move. Way faster speeds and higher reliability.

Easy to use straight out of the box. Works great to transfer files between computers as well as tremendous storage space. Small size is easy to put your pocket or purse.

I bought this disk for external recording to the Panasonic S5IIX. It is weather-sealed and matches the maximum specs that the camera will support (2TB, USB 3 Gen2x2). It allows for high bitrate recording or extended recording times of more than 10 hours depending on codec. Bitrates to my PC are fast enough that I can handle any codec without copying data, so I can put an entire project on one drive without spending time copying or transcoding files. This solution offers better throughput than an SD card at a fraction of the cost.

Very small package for a lot of capacity. The only negative is the cable that comes with it is short so having the drive supported and plugged in is a challenge for a desktop PC.

This is a great SSD. I use it for backups, but it also works well for travel. I will be needing a large SSD for field data transfer soon and this one is currently the front runner.
Also, great price! I can't think of any "complaints".

I purchased two of the 2TB X9 Pros for offline backups. I'm running linux mint and from the first time I connected them to my system they just worked and perform well. They push my USB 3.1 ports to their limit.
