Bought when BB had a 4hr flash sale for $375. Was not in the market for it (really looking at the Samsung tablets) but for that price I thought it was worth a look. Glad I did.
Fast and responsive - the Core M processor is a good compromise between battery life, quiet operation (no fan) and speed. Well built; the screen is top notch. Sound output is acceptable. Updated to Windows 10 and have had no issues. Now waiting for a good deal on SSD drives (that and the battery are user-replaceable - not common for tablets) - 64 gb is too small. Only wished the RAM was at least 8gb, or upgradeable - would have made it that much more future-proof.
I registered with Dell and as a new Dell member I got a $25 off e-coupon. I love this tablet/computer so much I used it to buy the mobile keyboard with extended battery (the keyboard that comes with this is almost unusable. Buy the mobile keyboard and it really becomes a workable mini-laptop. I paid $90 for it shipped.)
Don't know why Dell's version of this is easily $700 or more - seems to be the same specs?

I've had this tablet for a little over a month now, and can say that this is honestly a great alternative to a netbook or cheap laptop. It's well constructed, but is a little heavy. I primarily use this to carry between rooms when seeing patients at the clinic where I'm employed, rather than lug around the bulky laptop that was provided to me by the hospital. It works great for this, but also would be great for personal use. It can handle basic computing needs, but is not intended for a power user. The included slim keyboard cover is good for short typing sessions, but it's nothing I'd write the great American novel with. The touch pad on the keyboard is pretty good for basic use. I prefer a Bluetooth mouse so the full size USB port isn't taken up by a receiver dongle. The keys do click, but there is very little feed back, and some are quite stiff but have loosened up with use. If you are going to use this as a bonafide laptop replacement consider getting the mobile keyboard accessory. It's more like a standard laptop keyboard, and adds a few hours battery life to an already exceptional 8 or so hours for me. It will add weight due to the additional battery though, and the keyboard is not backlit like some competitors. I haven't used the accessory stylus pen so I can't comment on it. I don't really have a need for it. To me this is a serious competitor for someone looking at buying an entry level Surface Pro but doesn't want to spend over $800 plus the cost of accessories like the keyboard cover. I purchased this at about half price the retail price on a flash sale and even with purchasing the additional keyboard have spent a little over $500. It also works great with Windows 10. I upgraded right after purchasing, as I'm not a huge fan of Windows 8.1. If you can find this on sale and are looking for a portable hybrid that packs a small punch of power this may be the tablet for you.

My background: Apple MacBook and ipad fan, no iPhone, samsung Droid. But do to circumstances I have to buy an windows tablet. This one really useful program I have, but it based on windows, so my iPad and Droid phone can't read it.
So I have to shop for Windows, I tried 4 different ones, the only one I didn't try is the surface one, it's too big for me. So I stoped on this one. I like almost everything,
Good: fast, long battery life, good quality build. Perfect size.
Bad:
1) While watching utube, my wifi will stop working, so I have to disconnect and connect again. Happens 3-5 times a day. But my phones, and laptop, ipad is working.
2) The keyboard is good, but sometimes it's just stock, so I have to unplug it a plug in to get to work again, but then I figured out that is not a keyboard, but the tablet it's self, like I'm trying to backspace but it's typing ]]]. Even if I unplug the keyboard.
3) If you want to save battery life, keep tablet and keyboard separate. So for me at this point , I had it for about 20 days, I will go back and exchange for the same one. Maybe it will be a better one.
The list of products I have tried.
1)Lenovo yoga2 (sku:3297045) loved it, But i need a tablet.
2)Lenovo yoga2 (sku:8732054) couple issues, exchanged it same problems, returned it.
3)unbranded 10.1 (sku:9347022) it's something. No comments just returned. Very cheap build.
4) Some other that I cant find record of.
I was looking for tablet with keyboard.
So hopefully this will help some one. Have a good day.

Laptop Replacement

Great unit. The back does get a little warm but never uncomfortable. Runs my DJ software apps with no lag. I replaced the 64gb hard drive with a 256gb drive and now all is really golden. Lets see... The screen is great. I own a iPad Retina and a Lenovo Yoga 2 pro with 3800x1800 resolution, and the Venue's screen never leaves me lacking. Text isn't blocked and looks smooth. Even smaller high res images or game avatars are cell phone crisp. Recent drivers solved Wi-Fi dropout I was experiencing. Two speakers on the sides are nice and sound really full, true stereo experience. Doesn't distort and doesn't sound tinny. I'm getting about 6 hours of battery life with heavy usage and about 10-12 hours with on and off usage.
What I don't like? Nothing really. I love this thing. Just wished they had an illuminated keyboard option. oh yeah.. the standard keyboard only likes being on a flat surface. When not on a flat surface is doesn't always work, you have to lift it up and move the keyboard to a position it likes and then it works instantly without rebooting and such.
I highly recommend this unit. I originally paid $750 and got the buyers credit of $150 when the unit went on sale a few weeks back for $499. Now the price is back to $750.00 for the keyboard equipped model. I didn't feel at all short changed by paying $750. Getting this unit with the keyboard for $499 was the best money I spent in a while.

Replaced a 13" laptop so it's an improvement. The keyboard came with the tablot. The keyboard hard to use unless on a hard surface like a table. Also, I am not impressed with the stand. The Surface has a better stand. And the location of the on button makes it easy to accidentally shut down.

The Intel Core-M processor in this tablet is much faster than the Atom processor you find in most tablets this size. The thin keyboard it comes with isn't very stable, however I purchased the optional keyboard with an extra battery in it and it's an excellent keyboard.

Great Windows Tablet & Good Laptop

We bought this tablet since Surface Pro 3 is expensive while this tablet has better specs than newly introduced Surface 3 from Microsoft. The Camera & touch surface is good. The Dell keyboard which comes with Dell venue works well on a flat surface when you have it on your lap ir basically any non-flat surface, the keyboard may not work which is annoying. Overall happy with this tablet which can act as laptop as well when needed. I would recommend it for someone looking to buy Windows tablet but if you are looking to buy lWindows laptop i recommend lenevo.

Good tablet. Much better value than Surface. Can replace the m2 SSD with a larger compactly. Only real negative was the keyboard. Keyboard was not what I expected, only one position angle and keys are very flat.

I purchased the Dell Venue 11 Pro to provide me with a smaller, lighter alternate to my 17" laptop while traveling. The tablet has exceeded my expectations. Light, easy to use, and full featured. I added the Dell stylus and a 64 gig SD Micro card which provides me all of the storage space that I need. I am very happy with the tablet.

I was torn between a tablet or a laptop. I feel like I get the best of both worlds with this product! User friendly, Compact enough to put in my bag, large enough to watch a movie on. My only complaint is that there aren't many fun accessories (keyboards, carrying bags) for the dell products. I wish more of the universal accessories worked/fit.

Overall it's decent. The CPU is a little weak. The keyboard doesn't work well at all if you're trying to use it in your lap... not just finding a good position to sit it in, but the keys and trackpad are not responsive at times and don't work.
Also, while the hard drive is small, it's relatively easy to replace with a 512GB hdd... I also ended up using bluetooth keyboards and mice with it. It worked much better that way.

I bought the Venue 11 Pro after finding out that it bests the newly released Microsoft Surface tablet while costing less ($499 with the slim keyboard at Bestbuy less $10 off using an email coupon code).
The Venue 11 Pro has a real m2 SSD, which is faster than the Surface's eMMC drive. It also has 4GB of RAM versus the base Surface's 2GB.
I sold my Surface Pro 1 a few months ago because of the poor battery life as well as the weight of the tablet but needed a Windows computer to run the desktop version of Chrome browser.
I have so far not been disappointed. I have not found any issues with the Venue 11 Pro.

This makes a great laptop lite replacement. A great value. It would never replace a laptop or desktop for hard work, but it is great for road warriors. Good battery life. And the detachable keyboard makes it great for powerpoint when using a wireless projector.

First off, the screen looks very nice. I have gotten around 10 hours from the battery just doing web browsing. It gets barely warm to the touch when browsing. The battery is not easily changeable because the back is difficult to get off.

Frustrating

Bought at Best Buy 3 days ago and has been basically unusable. When booting I get a message that I'm using an underpowered 3W charger when I'm using the 24W that came with it. Then the function keys won't work to let me continue on. Won't charge while powered on, even when not in use, battery actually depletes. If I power it down, I can get a full charge, but then lasts barely 2 hours, again, even if not in use. Also get random keyboard issues such as won't let me type a capital "B". Had such high hopes as on paper this was such a better deal than the Surface. Will need to return it.

Works great. The plugin Keyboard takes a little getting used to . If you only use the onscreen keypad, then it is a nonissue. A good alternative to iOS iPad which lets you use your MS Windows platform.
