I simply plugged it into the USB port and followed the instructions on the screen to synch it to my laptop. If I could ask for one improvement, it would be that the keyboard had some back lighting. There is a tiny green light in the upper right corner of the keyboard that lights when "Caps Lock" is engaged.

This was purchased as a back up for a MAC when the wireless keyboard needs a charge. Not sure if it’s a compatibility issue. Requires restarting Mac. Overall this is a good keyboard for the price.

I like this keyboard because it has a large enter/return button. It a little bit noisy but it does not bother me. I wasn’t able to connect or use this with my MacBook Pro via docking station because it kept my computer on all the time. As soon as MacBook Pro goes to sleep this keyboard seems wakes it. Not sure if it is like this with other computers.

The keys respond at the correct tactile pressure, promptly, and quietly. They are in the correct position for touch typing. The keys are in the correct position for touch typing. The keypad feels right and is suitable for 10key by touch. Especially important for tax time. Use with Linux is flawless, especially with spreadsheet applications.
