Easy to use and set up. Works great. We had the "C" wire so I don't know how it would be without it.

Very easy to install and extremely convenient! Manage it from the comfort of your phone... worth every penny.

I upgraded my thermostat with the ecobee3 and it was a fairly easy install. I had to use the Power Extender Kit (PEK) that was included to create a C wire. The step my step instructions were great to follow and I was able to install the PEK to my furnace control board with no problems. Once that was done, I was able to wire the ecobee in with the existing thermostat wires to complete the install. I had it all done within an hour.

Thermostat works great and is easy to setup routines as well as connect to other smart home devices.

I control the Ecobee through the Ecobee App as well as the Apple Home App. After getting the schedule / temperatures fine tuned, it has been completely care free. Today I received my first statement after installing the smart thermostat and my bill was $60 less than the month before (granted it’s been cooling off and I’m sure that has contributed to the savings. But a significant drop none the less I thought). It is also worth mentioning that I had to call Ecobee’s customer service after having issues wiring it up. I must say that it was by far the best customer service experience I have had via phone. Long story short, I was having issues with the wiring and with what I was seeing vs. what the directions instructed. The service tech was extremely knowledgeable and patient. After emailing pictures to the customer service representative of what I was looking at (on both the thermostat and the furnace side), the customer service agent was able to help me get everything in order and working 100%. I can’t praise enough and was very happy with their assistance. I would also recommend purchasing the Ecobee Thermostat that includes the room sensors. I purchased them separately after the fact. No only do they monitor temperatures in the room they’re located in but they’re also motion sensitive. (Something that’s kinda cool is in both the Ecobee App as well as the Apple Home App, you can actively see those temperatures for each room. In the Home App, you can also see when there is active motion in the room). From what I’ve researched, the thermostat is apparently more effective in regulating temperatures with knowing when a room is occupied as well as having the different temperature readings through out the house. This all apparently aids to its cost effectiveness.

I debated between this and the Nest and I’m glad I went with Ecobee. Super simple to install and set up. We’re only about a week in but I can already see a difference in performance from our HVAC system. I don’t think our Aux heat has had to turn on once due to how Ecobee manages the temperature... and it’s not on a high comfort setting or anything. I’ll be interested to see our first few electric bills to know the true difference though.

It is very easy to install, enables to me change the temp settings without having to walk up to the thermostat, has a cool interface and works well.

I like this thermostat. I had an issue with the device due to it getting hit by a surge. Good thing I had geeks squad protection. But overall love the easy of use and installation.

Great Smart Thermostat. Easy to setup and using apps has been working perfectly.

This integrates with Apple HomeKit extremely easily and there has not been any issues between the two communicating since installation. As someone with no HVAC experience, the directions were clear and easy to follow, but I had to call into their support line due to some unusual connections being made by the previous owner. The support I received was genuinely incredible and quick to resolve my issue. Highly recommended in every way.

Great device. Attractive, well designed, responsive. I didn't get the option with the sensor because I didn't need it, but it seems that it would be nice if you had uneven heating/cooling issues or a larger home. I had an issue with installation. I called their support and expected to get the usual run around. They did have a high volume of calls and was asked to leave my number and they will call back. I was expecting to have to call their support back. But they called me back. They then helped me through my install issue, and sent me follow up emails, and made sure it was working. Works well with Amazon Alexa, with limited functions. We purchased a second one for our parents, however it did not work in their home so we had to return it. Overall we really enjoy the product.

The installation was easy and integrated right into my HomeKit network. 10 out 10 recommend!
