I started out with installing a Honeywell wifi thermostat that didnt work with smart things or the Alexa app. I took it back within a day of install and moved over to this unit. This thermostat is amazing as far as functionality and integration with both smart things and Alexa. Geofencing work as intended and setting the thermostat to away and home modes (in away mode i have the temp set higher so the AC doesnt use as much electricity and in home mode it keeps the temp comfortable). is really simple and convienient .

Built well and works great, nice to be able to tell Alexa to turn heat up just before I get out of bed. And be able to check my phone and make sure the heats still working at home when I am away on vacation .

Extremely easy to install and connect via wifi. Worth every dollar spent.

This has been one of my favorite updates to the house. I did have to run a new wire from the furnace (only had 2 wires) but our control board on the furnace had all the needed connections. Using the newest sensors in all our rooms and have been able to eliminate 90% of the cold spots in the house by adjusting vents. The programming is nice as well and having remote control from anywhere (even away from home) is a plus!

I actually owned one of the first Ecobee units back in 2008. Those were groundbreaking and way before Nest came out. Back then it was not a simple plug and play install, we actually had to have an HVAC participating dealer come install. We then moved homes and installed the Nest. Which is a great device, but its not HomeKit capable. So as I have recently started my addiction with home automation via HomeKit, the Ecobee thermostats are awesome!! Its a great looking device as well. Highly recommend!!

I love the ease of use of this Ecobee Smart thermostat. It was very easy to follow the instructions to install/setup in my home. I also love the fact that I can setup vacation schedules well in advance to set the thermostat to hold the temp at a particular level. This way, I don't have to worry whether I remembered to set it to hold or not before going on vacation. And of course, you can monitor/manage it remotely from the app on your smartphone. Overall, great product. Easy to use.

This is a great product. Installs so easy and has all the options I need. Instructions are simple and clear.

This thermostat was very easy to install. The instructions that came with it are very detailed. After installing it I had no trouble getting it connected to the app so I can control it from my phone. Ecobee has online reports to show usuage etc. You can easily set up schedules to automatically adjust temps for when your not home etc. I really like the fact it shows the weather in your area on the display. An added bonus was the local utility company offered a rebate for purchasing it.

Works pretty well. Easy to install and really convenient to use.

I have installed several of these in several houses over the years. Both my own, and others. Set up a straightforward, and if you need tech-support you sometimes might wait on hold for quite a while. But once you do get them, they are more helpful than any service I’ve ever had. As for the performance of the thermostat, its first class.

It was easy to install and came with very good guide to go step by step. Easy to use and thermostat and phone app interface are similar which helps it keeping usage easy.
