This product works great with HomeKit. Operating it by hand is also fairly easy, but i found it easier to use with the home app. Installation is very easy as long as you have the proper cables and tools. I wish the screen was a little bigger and maybe had some color to it, but I guess it’s good enough for a thermostat.

Very easy to install, with the help from ecobee had to rewire the connections. This thermostat is awesome

Worked out if the box versus NIGHTMARE Honeywell T5+. NEVER worked right and blew the fuses on our HVAC system when they updated the firmware on their units. Product support for ecobee so much better and much better unit and detail. Works well with HomeKit and just tell Siri to cool the house to your hearts desire. Stay away from Honeywell tho

I like the ability to be able to remotely update the temp. This is a big plus for me. One thing I wish it would allow would be to set up a "scene" so that I can press "the button" in the app and the temps would all be set to what I want them to be at (for example bedtime). Probably just an ecobee app "issue" but right now it seems that if I set it up ALL thermometers seem to go to the same temp and I don't want that. I want them to go to a programmed temp for bedtime, each with their own temp setting. Seems like an easy fix in the app. Other than that, easy setup etc and am happy with the purchase.

I have three of these and I think they're great! I even got one for my parents to use (that's how great I think they are!). They are easy to install, easy to use, and so much better than traditional thermostats. Love how I can just open the app and monitor or change my settings from anywhere.

It took me about 35 minutes from opening the package to having this bad boy installed, and that's even having to take the extra step of installing the extra wiring on the furnace because I didn't have a C wire. I love how much you can customize your settings-- I bought it mid Spring when I'd need to cool the house during the day and heat at night. It works perfectly, and my home is always comfortable.

Easy to install and very happy overall. Wouldn’t spend more than this much money with a thermostat though. If you’re undecided between different models just get this one. Upon researching extensively, apart from Alexa (which I actually wouldn’t use) it has pretty much all the features you’d have in the more expensive models. So at least for me, this model has the best value between smart thermostats.

Decided to replace my old thermostat with this one and so far has worked great. In fact, I used to have some hot spots in the house and with the ecobee and its sensors that link up to it, seems to have fixed my problem. The hot spots are no longer but it does appear that my ac runs more often than before. All in all, I think its worth buying and installing.

The ecobee thermostat works seamlessly with Apple HomeKit. I set up a schedule for each day of the week and even breaks out part of the day while at work. Excellent thermostat to help manage utility cost and reduce the use of the HVAC system when away.

I have used ecobee products for over ten years. The ecobee3 lite Smart Thermostat is a great improvement. It is everything I expected from ecobee plus more. It will learn your patterns and adjust the temperature accordingly. It works well with SmartSenors to refine savings and my at home pattern.

Got this for my senior mother bc her old thermostat sucked. Install was so easy. Followed the instructions and it was running in no time. I was concerned that she wouldn’t be able to figure it out...she’s a senior. On screen display is very easy for her to see and use. Also paired it with Apple home kit so she can use Siri on her iPhone to adjust the temp.
