If you know a little bit of electricity, electronics and have some technical knowledge, you will find this thermostat very simple to install and configure. You don’t need an expert to make it work. The only bad thing so far is than if electric power fails it will turn on when it comes back. In case of a power failure and you need to leave your house for a while, make sure to turn down the A/C breaker

Very easy to install, love being able to control temperature from my phone

This thermostat works great. We bought this one because we thought it would work best with our wiring. Our house is 30 years old. We had to have an HVAC guy come out after the furnace was not coming on appropriately. It was quickly fixed by a professional. I love that the thermostat will send an alert is the temperature gets out of normal range. This way, I will know if there is a problem while we are away. Works well with Alexa.

I installed ecobee myself and my heater was not working after installation. I called the Ecobee customer service at 10 PM and a human andwered in America. That is awesome serivce. Apparently I wired something incorrectly but they helped me fix it in about 5 mins and I was back up and running.

First it’s super sleek looking and looks very nice on my wall. Second it’s ridiculously easy to install. I like the online features of being able to control it from home and it’s very user friendly. It has done a wonderful job at keeping my house warm and controlling the fan speed to keep my upstairs from over heating. Best thermostat on the market in my opinion.

The Ecobee continues to be my favorite smart thermostat. It's easy to use, and it's dependable. I have one with multiple sensors, as well, and I like the ability to tell the thermostat to read temperatures from different locations. I didn't need that feature in the location for this one, but overall it operates the same. Don't hesitate to buy - this is a great product!

Purchased this mostly for the fact that it would allow me to hook up my whole home humidifier and let it be controlled more accurately from the thermostat. I have no real complaints for this thermostat. Easy to use, easy to install/setup, and the app works well also.

An excellent addition to any home and very easy to set up and use. Works best if you have the multiple room sensors. You definitely have to take the time to set up the best schedule and comfort settings. After you do that then you never have to worry about adjusting the thermostat again.

This is a nice thermostat. I like the native app and the integration with Apple HomeKit. It was easy to install and looks good one the wall.

After looking at all the options, I selected this one based on price being about $100 lower than Nest. Also, I didn't need to be able to connect to a home automation system. Easy install. Worked right out of the box. Nice, simple, well thought out packaging. The only thing I think could be better is the speed at which the app responds. It takes 3-4 seconds to apply and register a change.

Easy to use, looks great and saves money. Why spend more for some other brand?

Bought the ecobee because I wanted to have a little bit more control over my electric bill and also control the temperature remotely. I must say it didn’t disappoint. I can set up the schedule for the week, control it with my Alexa devices or from my iPhone, set up reminders to change filters, etc.

Easy installation/ very seamless Clean look and efficient

Had 2 nest thermostats for about 4 years. Was continuously adjusting the temp everytime i entered a room. The final straw was nest/google changing the log in method, thus disabling control from vera hubs. Upgraded to this ecobee, and added remote sensors. It is working great. It knows when i am in a room, and activates the a/c if needed. integration to automation hub vera was easy, and inclusion with alexa is no problem. I am glad i made the switch.
