Installation is easier than expected because of the included PEK module if there isn't a C-wire in an existing thermostat. The instructions are easy to understand for installation. Device setup is easy and straightforward. The ecobee app is useful for monitoring when away from home.

Works as described. Can set my home temp from anywhere

With my ecobee it takes comfort my to the next level. Changing the temperature hands free via Alexa from anywhere in the house or from my phone. Example waking up on a cold morning and not having to get out from under the warm covers to turn the heat up. I should have bought one of these LONG ago!!!!!

Easy to install, and has ran well since installed.

I replaced my old thermostat, which I liked a lot but wanted to go with a smart thermostat. After researching brands, I chose the ecobee3 lite thermostat because it best fit my needs. I love that I can control it with Alexa, Siri and when I'm away from home. The display is nice and easy to read. I have no complaints.

This had everything I wanted in a thermostat, and then some. Smart HVAC control, temperature control custom to which rooms are occupied (with extra sensors), functionality with a phone, and integration with smart home such as Alexa voice commands and more. The sensors are what make this a superior product to the Nest family of thermostats.

This thermostat was very easy to install. Just watch the video and use the included stickers, and you’ll be fine too. The Ecobee app is simple, and HomeKit integration is flawless. It is so much fun to say, “Hey Siri, set the temperature to 74 degrees.” This is my first smart thermostat, and my second smart home product. Highly recommended!

Helps me save on my bills. I can even set the thermostat to away from anywhere with the app which is a great feature since I’m often in the run. It even gives me helpful reminders for services needed. There’s no thinking or calculating. Ecobee does it all for me.

The install is simple if your old thermostat wiring had a common wire. The common wire is needed to supply power to the device. There are clear instructions and an adapter to supply a common wire if needed. The adapter is installed at the heater (or heat-pump, or air conditioner end) of the wiring. If your old thermostat does not have 4 wires, you will need to pull a new thermostat cable.

Ordered and received promptly. Has been installed and works just great. Nice to be able to control the temperature remotely because there are many times when I leave the house and intent to lower the thermostat before I leave and forget. It definitely is a money saver.

Not only can I control the thermostat with my phone, but also with Google Home. As long as you have a "C" wire it's super easy to install, and the schedules are straight forward and simple to use. But the best is asking Google what the thermostat (either upstairs or downstairs) is set to and then having it adjust the temp with the sound of my voice.

Ecobee 3 Smart Thermostat works beautifully. Based on the reviews I read, it consistently rated either #1 or a close second to the higher priced Nest. The price of the Ecobee3 lite is significantly less than Nest and both have similar bells and whistles. This together with the glowing Ecobee reviews made my purchase decision a no brainier.

Best Buy I have made. Easy to control my temperature in my house.

Easy to use and looks great on wall. I like the weather display on standby screen too. Especially if you get a rebate from your electric utility, makes it a great deal. Pick nest or this one depending on your aesthetic preference, both work well.

I find this easier to setup and customize compared to nest. Just make sure you go through the advance settings if you have a heat pump to fine tune when you want your auxiliary heat to come on. Sensors really make this more functional and Home IQ stats can show your usage and help you adjust tempature to save a little money.

Love my ecobee. I have a dog that i need to leave AC on for. It's nice having the control at my hands and turn it on when needed vs 24x7. Easy to use and my utility bill has decreased as well.

Super easy to install. I am the farthest thing from an electrician and I was able to install the thermostat just by following the instructions included. I love being able to use my homepods and the app to control and monitor the temperature of my home

Time will tell how much money this will save us. Just in first month of use. But love all the features. This replaced my “dumb” thermostats and really enjoy wireless control from my phone and schedule.
