Simple to use and has really good features, I specially like the "away" mode, sadly it requires an account for most features and I can bet they're collecting you're data, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Took a liitle while to figure this thing out but once i did what a great thermostat! I didnt have a C wire that ran to my furnace so i had to run new thermostat wire. Works great!! Highly recommend

I previously had a Nest learning thermostat, which I liked but it did not integrate with HomeKit. So when I moved I sold the nest and got a Ecobee. It was a great move. I love having everything integrated into one system. Works great and more responsive in the app than my nest was.

Works with the HomePod and Home App on my IPhone making life so much easier! Being a busy family who’s never home we can make sure the house is ready for when we are. No more sweating or freezing while we wait for the home to get to our temperature. We can control it remotely!

I’m a total tech member and had free installation. After watching it getting it installed I realized how easy this is to set up. Love the features and the app is very easy to use and set up schedules.

This ecobee3 is the coolest thermostat ever. I like being able to control everything from my phone app. It is also very easy to go to the webpage and set all the schedules for the ac. It also looks very sleek and modern on the wall.

Previously owned a Nest and we found the user interface to be easier on the ecobee. It is slick looking and fairly smart. We have not tried some of the remote programming with the phone yet but I am sure that will be a breeze as well.

The past couple of weeks since installing this, the weather's been pretty variable - some days topping out in the 50s and dropping to the 30s, then a high in the 70s and lows in the 60s later in the same week, but my house has been more consistently comfortable than I'd ever experienced before. With the remote temperature and occupancy sensors, most of the over- and under-conditioning problems of the past have become a thing of the past, and I know that if it does get too warm or cool, a quick adjustment on my phone or a few words to Google Assistant can adjust it to a more comfortable place. As far as the install, it was straightforward, and the instructions in the app helped me to install the included Power Extender Kit in my furnace, since my system does not include a C wire (which prevented me from purchasing some other smart thermostats in the past). Overall, my experience with the ecobee3 lite has been great, thus far, and my only regret is that I didn't decide to buy and install one sooner.

I already had an Ecobee 3 for downstairs but my wife wanted to add one upstairs as well. We didn't need the additional features that the Ecobee 3 lite. It doesn't take long to install it and it works great. Looks and controls the exact same way the Ecobee 3 does. Easy to use phone app.

This little device makes life so much better. Finally when I come home the apartment is the perfect temperature. I don't have to wait for it to warm up/ cool down when I get home. I can set a schedule or I can set a vacation time.

I throughly enjoy this smart thermostat. Having the ability to function it from my phone away from home is awesome. It sends me reminders on when my filters need to changed as well. Just note professional install may be required.

First smart thermostat, absolutely love it. The fact that I can change what my system is doing while away from home is still mind blowing lol. I got it on sale, with a promo for the smartswitch included, AND a $50 rebate.

I used nest thermostats for years. Finally switched to ecobee3 and will not go back. Gave my nest thermos away. I find it much easier to use and look at than the nest. Functions well and easy to connect. Works great with Alexa.

The Ecobee 3 Lite has made it easy to control my house's temperature either from home or away. Set up was easy. If you don't have a C-Wire this unit comes with the adapter so you don't have to buy it separately.

Excellent product. Serves every need I could want in a thermostat. I love being able to lay in bed and crack the heat up in the morning, or turning on the AC when I wake up hot in the middle of the night. Highly recommend!

I am a professional installer and frequent purchaser of the Ecobee 3 Lite as part of my package installing Trane non communicating HVAC systems. The Ecobee is by far the best thermostat on the market for ease of operation, user friendly and system compatibility.

Regret not buying this. I hate Alexa, and this basically does everything I want versus the more expensive smart ecobee. If I could do the purchase over again, I’d but the Ecobee light and add smart sensors to make it more “smart”.

Chose this device for my home after we installed about 20 of them at my office. I did not want Alexa or Google integration in a smart thermostat. The ecobee 3 lite is exactly what I was looking for. Great interface, great smartphone app, and its very easy to setup and use.

This is a fancy thermostat with a lot of capabilities. Our utility bills also went down after installing. The thermostat we switched from was larger and we had already painted our walls, but it comes with a wall plate to cover the hole so it was an easy install and looks great.
