Taking into consideration compatibility and ease of installation, the ecobee3 lite fit the bill. Everything you need is in the box. Ecobee even provides you with an additional wiring harness for a four wire thermostat in case you are missing the 24 volt fifth wire. Great unit.

This thermostat is incredibly easy to use. Incredibly adaptive to changing conditions (home, away, vacation). Integrates extremely well with Apple Homekit and the Wink 2 hub I have. Look - if you're looking for a smart thermostat - I can only recommend the best...and that's Ecobee

This is my first smart thermostat, and we love the Ecobee! I love being able to turn the HVAC system on and off when away from home. It also works pretty well with Alexa. Decided on this instead of something else because of the lower cost, but still has a ton of great features.

One of the only smart thermostats that works with Alexa, Google and Apple Homekit! That Alone makes it worth it!! Easy to setup and use. I recommend over a Nest because of the compatiability with Apple Homkit.

Working as it should. Took a little to get used to but it is user friendly. Had an electrician run a larger wire from the furnace to the thermostat but it would have worked with the adapter that was included.

Great thermostat. App takes a little while to update the temp. But still it’s worth the money. If you live in md, you can get $100 back from pepco, overall it’s 4.5 out of 5 for me. Does the job.

Absolutely love ecobee’s thermostats. Recently I was having issues with my filter and wasn’t aware of it. My wall unit displayed an error message and I also got an email that my furnace had been calling for heat with no response for 2 hours. Im not sure I would have realized there was a larger issue if my ecobee wouldn’t have notified me. I also utilize with the ecobee sensors in my back bedrooms as my house heats/cools unevenly. I couldn’t recommend this thermostat enough! We’re moving to a new house and after our previous experience with ecobee we purchased one to install right away when we move in.

Fantastic smart thermostat. Does everything you could want. I can control it with apple watch or phone (siri or ecobee app) and through any alexa smart speaker which is amazing.

I was not looking for the maximum amount of bells and whistles, just the thermostat that was easy to install, reliable, and WiFi capable as to monitor and change the temperature when I am away from home. This product was the best choice for me.

I have a google home so the thought of telling google to set temp w/o having to climb stairs was very appealing. Figured I could install myself but once I saw no "c" wire I called my a/c company. Even he had some trouble but ended up diconnecting heat wire as I never use in south Florida I set up with google home and have been very satisfied with the product

Was concerned about installation but the instructions were clear and it was easy to use. App on iOS is easy to use and works well remotely when you are not at home. Made it easy to adjust temp in our home after being gone so it was nice and cool upon arrival.

I absolutely love this thermostat. My old one didn't have a light on it and was hard to see. The install on this was easy, we did it ourselves. It's bright and you can see from across the room. It has the outside temp on it also. I would definitely recommend this!

Easy to install and very easy to view and control from anywhere on my phone. It is nice to have this to keep an eye on my home.

This install was about as simple as they come. Connected to WiFi easily and setup was a breeze. Have it set on schedule for normal days and just tell Alexa what to set it to as I walk out the door on the weekends and then set it from my phone as I head home.

I habe this connected to my hompod, works great and funtions how its Supposed too!

This thermostat was a breeze to install, and had great instructions for that, but once it turns on you are on your own. Most of the setup is intuitive, but when it is not there is no documentation or even help screens. It seems very capable. After a lot of messing around I have it doing almost everything I want. With a decent manual, I think this would be a 5 star thermostat.

I purchased this Ecobee thermostat because it was cheaper than the nest and better looking to me. I've become very impressed with the thermostat and being able to set it up to for home and away. I bought the sensors to go with it. I recommend buying this thermostat.

Very happy with the Ecobee. Bought 2. Would buy again. Installation was easy but slight problem when the unit didn't recognize that I had connected ALL the wires. It is as advertised...you will love a wi-fi unit and it was worth the price.

Bought this to replace my 13 year old LuxPro. Install was very easy since the system already had a 'C' wire. Paired it with Alexa and using with IFTTT. Plus with rebates from the utility company and a sale during the holidays, couldn't beat the price. Thanks BB
