I purchased the lite version, since I didn't need the remote sensors. May add the sensors later. Unit is simple to setup and use. I love the ability to setup schedules and the ability to manage them remotely.

This thermostat was easy to install and set up even for a first-time smart thermostat user. The controls are easy to adjust both on the home device and when using the ecobee app.

Like the look and the ecobee support is pretty good, but it is not for the complete amateur DIY if you have a zone system and no c wire. Had to add a transformer and a isolation switch. Also, system updates are done according to unit serial number, not by residence. I have two units: one was updated shortly after installation, the other is still waiting. ecobee says could be weeks Not a big deal, but I couldn't understand why they looked different, though there was a wiring issue...had to spend some time on Google to find out.

Easy to use. I am using the apple HomeKit to upgrade my smart home devices...love everything about this thermostat.

Great Smart Thermostat. Super easy to setup and use. Paired with the remote sensors for my sprawled out Ranch home helps keeps the house the temperature I desire, in just the areas I'm active in.

This was an excellent upgrade to our standard thermostat. Love the ability to control my thermostat remotely. Has helped to lower our utility bills.

Just set up Ecobee3 this week and have already been using it on a regular basis. Great to control the temp as needed without having to get up all the time. It is an approved wi-if model for APS rebate.

It was very easy to install. I love the features. I downloaded the app and bought extra sensors. It does balance the temperature in the house in areas away from the original thermostat.

Not entirely sold on the this smart thermostat. It is not the easiest to use given it wants to program its own smart tech. I prefer to set the normal wake, leave, return, and sleep program. It looks great on the wall.

I went with the ecobee over the nest because of the whole Apple ecosystem, I wanted something easily controlled using the home app. Good quality and easy to install, although adding it to HomeKit was a bit tricky.

The ecobee 3 lite smart thermostat is truly a game changer. Not only can I control the thermostat remotely, with the optional sensors monitor every room for a consistent temperature.

Absolutely love our new toy and I love that I get to control the temperature in my house from work!! Talk about saving energy and money!
