Originally tried a Nest thermostat but had some issues. The ecobee line comes with a power adapter that I needed. Really love this thermostat.

Best thing I got. Added the temperature sensors and the temperature in the house is very comfortable. Connected to Alexa to control by voice

I installed two Ecobee units in a newly purchased home. The experience compared to Nest is fairly average. The ecobee is equipped with more advanced sensors, but it doesn't appear to use them as intelligently as nest for creating a 'smart' schedule. I feel like it is somewhere in between a basic programmable thermostat, and a true learning thermostat like nest. That said, the app is fairly user friendly and works well. It would be much better if the two thermostats worked together to control a zoned HVAC system, but it is left up to the user to configure

This is a sweet little thermostat. Love having the ability to set from anywhere and incorporate with Alexa. Must have item.

Amazing product- I can turn my heat or AC on without getting up! Some might think this is lazy but I appreciate the ease!

For a thermostat, this was an easy install considering I don’t have a C wire (old AC system). Love it so fast. App works great with it.

Have this thermostat both up and downstairs easy install and once you learn easy to operate.

Love being able to control thermostat from phone anywhere! Can do geofencing. If you don't need the "alexa" option, this is way better than paying $250 for the ecobee4.

I currently live in an apartment, which doesn't allow me to change the thermostat. But oh well, I've always been a tech guy. This was just another one added to my smart apartment. If you don't have a common wire, this will work with the PEK kit it comes with. There is no worry of "power stealing" for this. The PEK relay box is pretty much full of relays, a call to heat tells the PEK to switch the unit too heat and same for A/C. I steered clear of the Nest thermostat for issues of power stealing. Setup took roughly 45 min if your not dealing with this on a daily basis.

I've used Ecobee before and have always been satisfied with its performance. Very user friendly. Highly recommended.

The installation of this unit was very easy to accomplish. The instructions are straight forward and guided through the entire process with very clear to understand steps.

Love the availability to adjust temperature when not home. Did have a professional hook up the system.

I first bought the ecobee4 and liked it for the downstairs living area and figured the ecobee3 lite was the best bet for upstairs. It was easy to install and use.
