Probably the best pick for many

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit is affordable, works well, has a great user interface, but most importantly it can be installed in effectively any home since it doesn't need that cursed c-wire. Had to call in an electrician to install it, but I blame the designers of my home as my electrical system is a confusing mess. If you are into electronics/home improvement diy & have a normal electric system in your home you hopefully shouldn't have an issue if you have sufficient caution and spent some time researching the job.

Does exactly what I need

It has all the features I was looking for and none of the ones I wasn’t. It was as if it was custom ordered. Other than having to dig through the instructions for my simple setup I have no complaints. Something to consider If you’re like me and have separate steam heat: installation was a bit more complex because I had to install a transformer and additional lines to the thermostat. Other than that, setup was a breeze. I’ve already recommended this to friends.
