I had some difficulty with the installation because the previous thermostats were made by Honeywell so there fore the wiring was different than shown on the instructions. I finally gave up and called customer service where a well informed competent person talked me through step by step to make the necessary wiring changes. I probably should have called immediately upon encountering problems. So my message is call Ecobee customer service and let them walk you through the process if you run into problems. Great product though.

Great product - easy to use

Bought the Ecobee 3 lite for the upstairs bedroom suite. Super easy to install. You can download the app with a video that walks you through everything step by step. Easily connected to the wifi and I am bale to monitor both in the Ecobee app. Also works with Apple HomeKit. Lots of programmable features and you can use the online app (or the iPad app) to monitor monthly use and compare to average homes in your area.

The BEST Smart Thermostat

The unit is fast accurate and easy to control with your favorite digital assistant. I use mine with Apple HomeKit and had one in the house in Atlanta I just sold and bought this one to pair with the brand new heating/AC system in our new home in North Carolina.
