This is replacing our old Nest and it's every bit as good as the more expensive ones; easy installation and is available on our smart phones

This thermostat replaced another wifi enabled thermostat that was horrible. I am very happy with this one. It was very easy to install. It looks sleek on the wall and is very user friendly.

Ecobee3 set up was easy. Connected to my WiFi flawlessly with the iOS smartphone method. I have a dual fuel unit and there are a lot of settings! I used default for most. This was a replacement for my 8 year old unit that stopped working. I have three units in my house. I keep detailed records and I have easily saved 15% per yr on electricity and 30%+ on gas.

This thing is pretty cool. Took about 45 minutes to install and was easy to use. Works really well and very straight forward. The app you use with it works really well and has a lot of cool features. One feature I like the most is the Geofencing using your phone. When you leave out of a certain area you put down it will activate the thermostat to go into away mode if you wish for it to do so. Also you can control the system with your phone while your away. It also shows a graph of how much energy you use each month. I would recommend it to anyone.

It was easy to install. The instructions were very clear. I love how easy it is to operate and how great it looks! The numbers are the perfect size. Putting in this thermostat made our house cooler all around. I had no idea changing to a Smart thermostat would make such a difference on how comfortable our house is. Love this thermostat!

This is not a fancy, multi-function thermostat. But it is 1) easy to install, 2) easy to operate (in person or remotely), and 3) Wi-Fi enabled and accessible from anywhere. It's a great choice for a second home.

Purchased as a replacement for a previous model that lasted 6 months before getting fried. So far tgis unit is working as expected without any issues. These units are very easy to install and setup. Purchase a standalone thermometer to verify the calibration of the thermostat. Both units were off by 3 degrees according to two different thermometers. That aside, this is a worthwhile purchase for the remote control and the ability to set heating and cooling parameters. The Ecobee links easily with Alex and Google. I was even able to integrate this with my alarm system for control through its app.

Very easy to install, just had to run 3-conductor thermostat wire from the basement to the main floor and wire into the mounting plate for the Ecobee. Once I got it powered up, she connected to my wifi network no problem and then easily linked up w/ Apple HomeKit. I've got HomeKit 100% controlling the EcoBee using custom automations and Siri voice control. Far more intuitive than the Nest and bonus that it works w/ HomeKit!

I've had my ecobee for over a year now and it's been nothing short of excellent. It was incredibly easy to install and configure. Their iOS application is great and using it mimics using the thermostat itself. All of the stats available by logging into your account online are awesome as well. I love that this thermostat integrates in with HomeKit as well. I was able to easily setup a geofence to have my thermostat change its settings when people enter/leave the home. It's awesome too that ecobee continually updates the ecobee 3 lite still too, even though it's been out for a couple of years now!

Recently purchased this smart thermostat. Initially, I was looking for a replacement for our 10 year old Honeywell, and didn’t want to spend much. Came across this Ecobee with great reviews and decided to make the purchase. The $75 credit from our local electric company for switching to a Energy star thermostat helped make the cost of the Ecobee more appealing. The Installation was quick and easy, did it myself. After downloading the app I was hooked. Very glad we decided to go with this thermostat and it looks modern.

I wasn't planning on getting a smart thermostat, but my gas/electricity provider was offering a nice refund if I did. And it has been awesome. I installed it myself, and even though I had to install the included furnace adapter, the instructions were well written and easy to fallow. last than 30 minutes later, I was configuring the settings. It works seamlessly with home kit and I love using the geofencing to automatically turn the temp down when I leave and start warming back up when I'm within 2 miles of home. And it just works. 3 weeks in and I haven't had to fiddle with anything... I highly recommend this one.

I’ve had Nest thermostats in two previous homes. When I purchased my new townhouse, I installed a Nest. A couple of months later, my HVAC system stopped working. Like my previous homes, there was not a C-wire and Nest used Power Stealing. The HVAC system in the townhouse did not work well with Power Stealing like it did in my previous homes. My choices were to install a C-wire, use a power adapter or find a different thermostat. I looked into installing a C-wire, but found it was not practical and not guaranteed due to finished walls and limited access to the area where the wire needed to be run. An adapter would look horrible as there was no way to conceal the wire between the thermostat and the 110v outlet. My HVAC tech recommended the Ecobee 3 Lite. The Ecobee 3 Lite comes with a PEK (Power Extender Kit) that connects to the HVAC control board and the existing 4 wire thermostat line. Installation was easy. Now my HVAC functions the way it should and the thermostat gets the power it needs. I also like the thermostat interface and the Ecobee app. It also works great with Apple HomeKit and Siri. In my opinion, Ecobee has surpassed Nest in every way. I highly recommend the Ecobee 3 Lite.

Installation was really straight forward and simple. Connected to my home network without any issues. Perfect for adjusting home temperature without having to get out of bed. Also peace of mind because of ability to control remotely away from home.

It is easy to install, learn how to use, and an improvement from the old one. It is nice to have the wi-fi access. It keeps an accurate temperature.

Very easy to install, and looks great in my room. Only downfall is the setting are difficult to adjust and the screen froze on me already.

Extremely easy to install and has all of the features you will need. the install was fairly easy and they have excellent american-based technical experience that did an absolutely fantastic job in handling my install on the phone. Takes about one to two hours to install the head unit only because of the particular age of my HVAC system otherwise it would take about an hour or less for most newer homes. It looks sharp and futuristic and works perfectly well with the app. Highly recommended and less expensive than competitors.

I live in a home that was built in the 90’s, and I had no problems with installation. The app walked me through every step, and I had the unit installed in about 30 minutes. It’s so nice not having to worry if I forgot to turn off the ac before I went to work and being able to arrive home to a house that is already nice a cool (disclaimer: I’ve only been able to use this in the summer months so far). Definitely a cool little gadget that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to make their home a little more efficient.

I had one of the earlier versions at my old house and it was great. I moved to TX and wanted another. Initially I was going to go for a Neat but there was a rebate special and they were sold out. The Eco Bee was the same price so I bought another. I remember why I liked it so much. Extremely easy to setup, use and maintain. I love the app access and ability to turn it on and off from wherever, whenever. I know any wireless smart thermostat can do this. Eco Bee is the one I have and it is as good if not better than advertised. So buy confidently.
