I had it professionally installed and was working within a half hour. Downloaded the free app and followed the easy setup instructions. I really like the touch feature as opposed to the cheap buttons on my old WiFi Honeywell thermost. The old one always would lose contact with my WiFi and was difficult to manually operate.

It works exactly as described. It was easy to wire into my house.

It displays the temp constantly and if you have more than one it communicates better with Amazon/Alexa

This is a fine product. It’s good for use with HomeKit. The interface is intuitive. My biggest issue is there should be a way to use it purely as a HomeKit device, without having to connect to wifi or create an account. That ability is what differentiates a good HomeKit device from a great one to me. The instructions were very easy to follow and well written.

Works well as a smart remote operated thermostat. We like it so much we bought two!

Very versatile smart thermostat. Installation can be complicated and may require you to install a power module (included) inside your furnace! Do buy remote sensors for regulation of the temperature in more rooms, not just where the main unit is attached. You must have a smart phone and WiFi to set up this system. An operating guide does not come with the item. Must go online and discover features through videos and FAQ's.

One of the best smart thermostats ever, I love Ecobee, for me it's better than the Nest, it's just my preference

This is a great thermostat if you don't need all the extras that the ecobee 3 has like supporting humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or ventilators. If you have these accessories, get the ecobee3. If you don’t have any of these things, the lite version is perfect.

I, like most others would prefer the Nest Thermostat, however Google owns Nest and they don't seem likely to add HomeKit compatibility anytime soon. My house being primarily Apple, HomeKit was required for continuity sake. Fortunately the Ecobee 3 works great with homeKit and has a great feature set.

This device was a purchase for my sister’s house for Christmas. I have 1 in my house and I absolutely love the features. The only problem is that her house has a very old Honeywell mercury switch for a thermostat. So we needed to run extra power to it for it to properly function.

This replaced a standard programmable thermostat. Easily linked to 2.4 GHz WiFi. The only gripe would be let the program times trump the hold temp feature. You get home and lower the temperature. Once the next timed temp comes along, switch from hold temp to programed temp. Or at least make this an overriding option on the account that you setup. In the case of the Ecobee, HOLD means HOLD all future programs are ignored.

It works and it’s compatible with Apple Home app. So I’m ok with it

We love the Ecobee thermostats! They are great for setting a schedule and just letting it do it's thing. It has saved us so much on our electric bill just by having our house on a schedule.

This is the second Ecobee that I have installed in my house. I installed one about a year ago for the main floor. This one was installed upstairs. I like being able to monitor my thermostat’s temperature from my phone wherever I am. I also use Google Home to change the settings. Setup is fairly easy.

We researched a few wi-fi enabled thermostats, including Nest, Honeywell and Ecobee. We bought two Ecobee 3 and couldn't be happier. We had a new condenser & coil installed and our HVAC company installed them both. We downloaded the Ecobee app and set up both thermostats, programmed setbacks and it really was quite easy.

Fantastic, it works very well and saves a lot of energy. I recommend it 100%.
