I live in a home that was built in the 90’s, and I had no problems with installation. The app walked me through every step, and I had the unit installed in about 30 minutes. It’s so nice not having to worry if I forgot to turn off the ac before I went to work and being able to arrive home to a house that is already nice a cool (disclaimer: I’ve only been able to use this in the summer months so far). Definitely a cool little gadget that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to make their home a little more efficient.

Great smart thermostat! It's cool to be able to adjust on your phone and also have the temp auto-regulate based on settings. I'm in an apartment and just had maintenance set it up for me. Worth upgrading your old thermostat for!

I had one of the earlier versions at my old house and it was great. I moved to TX and wanted another. Initially I was going to go for a Neat but there was a rebate special and they were sold out. The Eco Bee was the same price so I bought another. I remember why I liked it so much. Extremely easy to setup, use and maintain. I love the app access and ability to turn it on and off from wherever, whenever. I know any wireless smart thermostat can do this. Eco Bee is the one I have and it is as good if not better than advertised. So buy confidently.

Easy to use. Easy to set up with Apple HomeKit. Connects to the internet and gives you local weather information. You can Siri about current conditions inside your home.

We installed the ecobee thermostat and we were able to easily set it up. We can now control the heat and air conditioning from our phones. The weather this time of year is not consistent, so we've had the air on during the day and heat at night. Once the weather shifts, we're hoping we will see a difference in our bill. I would recommend this thermostat. Nice to be able to warm up the house without getting out of bed in the morning!

I was able to install two ecobee3 lites in our house that we just bought. It's an older house (1988) and the thermostats were original. Ecobee's tech support helped me get it done. They were great! They took their time with me to get it all right. We have one on each floor, and they work great together. I've had no problems using the app at home or away from home. There are things about the ecobee3 lite that I have yet to use, but it's a versatile smart thermostat that does it's job well. I recommend the ecobee3 lite smart thermostat.

Set up was fairly easy. Take the advise of taking pictures of your wiring connections. My only complaint is the scheduling set up is not exactly easy - could just be me, but I’m pretty savvy with this kinda stuff. Anyhow, it works great. I love that you can use this with Alexa and can also control your AC/Furnace from your phone hundreds of miles away. Ended up buying one for my parents - if they can use it, anyone can. I think it also looks better than the Nest plus you can add sensors, I don’t think you can do that with Nest.

Installation instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Looks great and functions even better.

We had a smart home thermostat from Vivant and it never worked properly. Had to have it replaced multiple time. This Eco Bee was recommended by HVAC professionals. And they were right this thermostat works flawlessly. Can be controlled by your phone from anywhere. Tells you when to change your filters, pluse you can get a rebate for using this product from xcel or your power company.

I have a fully automated smart home, but took a really long time determining which thermostat I should get. I finally decided to get the Ecobee3 Lite and couldn't be happier. It was very easy to install with fantastic instructions. It works well with my Hubitat Elevation system. I elected to use my own temperature sensors and haven't had any issues. But if you don't have extra sensors, I recommend buying one or two for larger homes.

We love this. It does about the same thing as an old programmable thermostat but has a few upgrades that make it worth the extra money. I like being able to control the thermostat from my phone and appreciate that this can give me details about the weather. It is easy to program and I feel like our energy use has decreased from the programming features of this product. Installation took about an hour but was pretty easy.

Love being able to control the temperature through my phone and also have the ability to use homeKit. Everything is very easy to use and setup wasn't too difficult. The only thing I recommend is that if you don't have a c wire attached, check in your wall before installing the kit. Followed the directions to install the kit first before disconnecting at the thermostat and had to undo it once we found out we had a c wire. Great product though!

For some reason best thermostat had lot of problem in my 3 zone home 1 year old. So I decided to go with ecobee 3 lite. It worked out great. Done with install in 30 to 40 mins on 2 thermostats. In few weeks added smart sensors. My HVAC seem to run so infrequently and yet the home stay optimal. So so happy with this purchase and the ability to control remotely + home and away mode. Great hope it stays great for many years!

After extensive research to move to a smart thermostat we chose the ecobee. I had it professionally installed since we had some ac work being done. This thermostat has not disappointed since. Efficient, smart and easy to use. Looks are a A+ as well. We chose this based on working with apple and we are glad we did.

I got two of these to replace the old thermostats in my house, and I love them. They work perfectly, were easy to install, and are making a difference in our electric bill. And if I feel too hot or cold at night, I just have to grab my phone to make a change with the app. It's super handy.

I previously purchased an Emerson smart thermostat and had repeated connection issues. Ordered this Ecobee to replace it and have had no issues so far. Looks sleek and modern on the wall, app is easy to use. Wish the thermostat control on the device was easier to use but its a minor issue.
