If you are looking for a smart thermostat..., the the Ecobee is for you. Easy to install, easy to program. Strong connection to WiFi. Looks great. Works as advertised.

Although told that this thermostat could work with a heatpump, after much time, several times on the phone and trying..it didn't. Customer service tried to be helpful...but were not and were unwilling to refund or accept a return for the thermostat after it was clear that I wouldn't be able to use it. Ended up very disappointed ...and wasted too much time on this.

literally no issues at all. Took me a little bit to figure out how to hook up as I've never done anything with thermostats before. But haven't had his issues since it's been hooked up

i've owned the ecobee for 2months now and i'm very happy overall. Their support is great compared to other competitors. They went the extra mile to ensure everything was working well. Siri integration is awesome!

This thermostat is awesome. The installation and smart home integration was simple and straightforward. The biggest factor when purchasing this was the price compared to The Nest and it's integration with Amazon. Alexa.

LOVE THAT I DON'T HAVE TO GET UP AND CAN COMMAND SIRI TO ADJUST MY AC CONTROLS. JUST NEED A ROBOT TO WASH DISHES NOW.

Cool design, cool features but there are to many and they demand (and are made to steal) more wattage than the low wattage wiring is capable of. Our home was built 4 months ago, this isnt any issue other than how the ecobee is built. To keep it slim there is no battery, which would have corrected their issues. The ecobed hooked up easy and worked great..once, then it would not turn the heat on no matter what scripted workaround we were given. Googling issue brought up pages and message boards of people with the same exact problem and no fix from ecobee.

Bought 2 for new home (upstairs & downstairs). Electricity blinked off for a few seconds during a storm and the downstairs unit got stuck in a continuous reboot cycle. I switched the units out with each other just to keep the air running downstairs until I was able to call customer service. Customer service said I had to be in front of the unit to try several steps before they would send a replacement (I was at work). By the time I got home, the unit had fully rebooted & acted fine. Synced downstairs to wifi and run through the settings which were great. Love the app on my phone. However, when trying to since the upstairs to the wifi, it would not do so automatically and I can't get it to accept it manually either. It still works in manual mode though, so I haven't felt like sitting on the phone with customer service since it's the upstairs unit and I basically leave it on one setting all the time.

Awesome thermostat! I love my ecobee! Especially during the summer months, it’s so nice to have the house pre cooled on my commute in.

I love not having to worry about being eco-conscious when I'm not home. Having my hose comfy when I get home and automatically adjusted when I'm away has been amazing!

Very easy to install and easy to use! Love that we can put it on the home app and control it from our phone when we are out of town!

I would give it 5 stars if the app would have worked right out of the box. Initially the app would not keep the settings that I adjusted it to. I had to adjust on the wall. I contacted customer service and they pushed an update that fixed the issue.

The eco lite has more than I expected. I hired someone to install it, but the instructions did appear clear and straight forward if you will like to install yourself.

It took me a few hours to get it installed, but it was worth it. Looks great in my living room, small and sleek. Setup is simple, and could be done by one of my kids.

I Love my new thermostat. I’m a gadget person and I love convenience. With wifi ❤️ U can lay in bed adjust the temp for a good nights sleep

Very easy to set up and reliable so far. The ability to monitor different rooms and change settings using the mobile app is a life changer.

The more advanced and more expensive Ecobee comes with Alexa, which I find annoying, so the lite version for me is way better value.

This is a good thermostat no real problems but now that the new Nest E has come out for the same prince it is a no brainer! Nest works well with everything and the display goes out when not in use which is great since my thermostat is outside my bedroom and don't need the constant light that the Ecobee puts out.

This is the best cheap smart thermostat that you can get. But they have a new one out so get that one.

I got one for Christmas for my home and it worked so well I purchased one for my son. He lives in an older home and it was of the few that will adapt to the holder wiring system for older homes.
