    Skip the Nest and buy an Ecobee. I've been really happy with the purchase. I've adding a second one to the house.

    Nice thermostat. Had to replace the one that we had. Wanted one with WiFi connection so we can adjust from anywhere! Works great!

    Easy to install, a little difficult to set up the schedules and maintain the temperature. Overall looks good and has nice display.

    Ecobee thermostats are great. I own 2 Ecobee 4s and an Ecobee 3. I bought this Ecobee 3 for a thermostat located in a hallway since I would not use Alexa in that location.

    Super convenient product to control your temperature from your phone and Alexa with voice command. First make sure that your AC is compatible with smart thermostats, it must have a C wire.

    Stable product, and love the out of house feature that shuts off my ac when im not at home saved roughly $25 a month on electricity

    I got this for a second zone in my house. I have the Ecobee 3 as my main thermostat. Great functionality and features, however lacking the room sensing. I thought this had the on unit room sensor but it you need to buy the separate room sensors if you want to use that function.

    The ecobee 3lite actually sits below the now unavailable ecobee 3 since It actually has a few less features available. It is priced however around the same as the older ecobee 3 so if you can still find that get it if not then the 3lite will have to do.
