    The ecobee 3 lite has almost all the internet connected features that are necessary but at a 20% discount from the ecobee 4, it doesn’t seem all that of a great deal.

    So far so good with the ecobee. Be prepared for a learning curve as the thermostat is not intuitive to use.

    Definitely way trickier to set up, although that was also due to our unique HVAC setup. Has worked well so far.

    In the right scenario the install is probably easy, but we had a lot of wires that didn’t make sense and had to install something in our furnace.

    After reading other online reviews I sold my other thermostat and bought the ecobee.There are better thermostat out there on the market. It's only gimmick is the temp sensors. In my opinion the other "smart thermostats" on the market can be paired with a multipurpose sensor that will work better than this one. Ecobee does not have Google Assistant support nor do they plan on it. Will work with ifttt. If you don't have Alexa and use homekit and Google Assistant, this is not the one for you

    I returned this smart thermostat after reading those reviews. Looks like I have to do more research with my existing furnace and AC.
