    I bought a house with older model Ecobees and the screen went out on one, so I bought two new ones. I think they are on the hard side of programming. Ecobees software needs some work. They have very nice people in customer service, but about half can solve actually help. I am a maybe on this product. Would probably buy Honeywell if I had to replace.

    I wish I could have kept it. If you still have a C wire you will have difficulty rewiring at the condenser unit. Especially if you don't have a mother board. I opted to not do the extra work and got rid of it

    I’m giving this a 3 star since I could not install the thermostat myself. Since My unit is older it needed the c- wire adapter. I would have needed an electrician and I did not want to increase the cost of having a smart thermostat.

    Very good performance and remote control through it native app but HomeKit integration needs some work. I believe it has issues with the dual band routers and is unavailable through HomeKit a good percentage of the time. The company needs to work on a firmware update to solve this issue!!

    Overall this product is fine. I purchased this for the developer API, however for no reason the company disabled this feature without warning. I am now looking to replace it as it no longer meets my needs

    I wasn't really impressed with this unit over the one you get from your local electric company for a discount just to have access to your unit (CPS) I may actually return it and wait a year or so until there is something worth spending $100+ on a thermostat.
