Learn the system so you don’t get a high electric bill

Bought this for my cold wife. She needed the ability to adjust the temps on the fly and the app makes this simple. The integration with Alexa is also simple to setup and use.

This ecobee 3 lite works very well. It was easy to install and setup. I really like how it can maintain temperatures based on different room activity and time of day.

Meh. Ended up getting the Google Nest for free from our electric provider and it seemed to keep the house at a more levelled temp. Felt like I was always turning up the heat on the Ecobee.

Unfortunately never worked out of the box. Had my HVAC buddy inspect the wiring I did and he said it should've worked. Switched to a Google thermostat instead.

Seems like it will be good. Found out it’s not compatible with my current system, but from all it says it can do seems like it would work.

Ecobee 3 lite smart thermostat has a god-awful user interface that is way-overly complicated.

I wish I knew how this worked,,, but shipped to my old address. two addresses ago. I went into my account. and changed my previous address to my current address. But yet the geek plan was "shipped" to the correct address. I am really stressed over this. I went in and changed the address, yet this happened. In addition I went back into my account and now it shows my address from two addresses ago. This is really annoying. I live in Texas and guess what? It gets hot here and I need the Thermostat.

Good stat. Much better than a Nest. However, it does not support a humidifier. You need a Ecobee 4 model for that

My thermostat would change on its own. I called support and they told me nothing is wrong. Because it changes on its own it’s not their problem. I have a 16 year old dog. My heat switched on in The summer to 93 in the house nearly killed my dog. Over the last couple weeks it keeps switching to AC and getting cold as possible.

Product was easy to install. Completed install in one hour. Works well and happy with the performance.

The Ecobee 3 did not work properly with my AC system. It would not start the heater properly and would just keep cycling my system on and off every five minutes or so. Returned to store.

Never even got to use it. Said it was compatible with a 2 wire system....YEAH.....if u have an electrical college degree!! Hogwash a runi

I do not know if it works well because when I bought it it was supposed to come with a switch as a gift but it did not so I returned

Not with the actual product but apparently Best Buy geek squad are not qualified to install this thermostat due to needing some wire work on your furnace. I appreciate the tech being honest but why does the company advertise this if they are sending out people who are simply hoping they get it right ?

this will be a definite return, after all is said and done I thought it would be soooo much cooler for the price. Some complications with the installation. It is not intuitive, but geeksqad installation is as much as the device. I live in an old house and of course there are compatibility issues. If it did more than our current Honeywell (whoch is programmable) besides hooking up to WiFi and getting the weather forecast it may be worth it, but this is not worth the $ or installation hassle

Good for Alexa use we dont have to get up off the couch to change the tempature

this is very easy to setup and has many options and very nice easy to see screen

This device looks attractive and model; however, it does not regulate the heat equally through the home to save energy. I had to return this item.

Have an older HVAC and this was able to get me on next level of smart home.
