Already saved me money! Love being able to change temperatures when I'm not by the thermostat. Alexa is bonus!

Had an issue with heat had to contact customer support waited on hold for 45 mins decided to send an email. Took 3 days to respond. Works well now I’m gappy with it

Works great, save money, and allows you to control your thermostat from anywhere you have internet connection.

The thermostat functions very well. Alexa has some issues that Amazon and Ecobee are working on. Should be great after the update but I ended up muting Alexa for now.

A little high priced for what is does, has worked in 2 homes now with little to no fuss. Complaint are the second sensor is useless you live in a single story house, might need one in every room for it to work well, can’t say it does anything save on energy bills. It is a pain to set a new location if you move, and the warning about energy use when AUX heat is in use is annoying, my electric bill tells me how cold last month was with the high price. Thermostat is well made and looks good, the Alexa speaker works well but don’t expect to be blowed away

The ecobee 4 is great! I love controlling the temperature from my phone, whether at home or on the go. Alexa is great too!

Have had every nest since Gen-1. For years, we thought we had an issue with the equipment in the house and had no idea it was the nest. Long story short, the Ecobee4 is a STEP UP from nesting every way. Take the functionality and pair that with the additional sensors you can purchase to really let Ecobee 4 do its magic. That's where you see the MAJOR benefits. Entire family woke up this morning FREEZING and I can say in 5 years with the next, this type of occurrence NEVER happened.

While we do not use the Alexa option, the unit itself is great, easy to use and has great settings.

I love this thermostat. It was easy to attach and works like a charm. My whole house is now connected to Alexa.

This is my third ecobee in a few months. The first one stopped working and was a warranty exchange. When the second one failed the warranty people wouldn’t help so I’m out $500 total. I haven’t switched brands only because of the remote sensors. These are the best way I have found to get upstairs bedrooms evenly cooled. In Phoenix that’s particularly important in August, when the two prior thermostats failed. I like it but don’t LOVE it because when I spend this much I want it to last, and support process isn’t great unfortunately.

I researched several different smart thermostats and ultimately settled on the Ecobee 4 for the primary reason that it came with remote sensors. My thermostat location wasn't necessarily amenable to someone walking by and letting it know someone was home. The remote sensors have been placed in locations where someone is more likely to walk by. I was able to set up several schedules and it's very easy from within the app to override the temp setting as needed.

This thing is awesome. We live it. It tells you humidity sends alarms and much more Check it out for yourself.

Easy install - took less than 30 mins. Set up was breeze. yet to explore advanced features. So far it is a great buy.
