Great product. Returning customer. Installation instructions could have been easier. The system works better when used with a room sensor.

I changed this out from my Nest thermostat, initially because my Google Nest was acting up and running my AC non stop. Im glad i made the switch. The interface is straightforward, and temperatures can be held at a constant vs the nest which did its own thing no matter what the settings were. Siri is a great bonus, and the touch screen is bright beautiful and responsive. The weather forecast is cool too!

As a thermostat, the temperature reading is always 3-5 degrees higher than any other thermostats and sensors in the house. In the winter, I do feel the room colder than the temperature readings. I can't believe this "Premium" product cannot even do the very basic job well. In the summer, it sometimes refuses to engage the AC, even though the desired temperature is set to much lower than the current temperature reading. I ensured the schedules and time-of-usage is not active. I had to use the "Test System" option to engage the AC manually. Very inconvenient and unreliable. The automatic Home/Away feature never worked for me. I took a trip out of town, and the second day it still haven't switched. I have to manually set it. Overall, a very stupid design and implementation. This product has not thing to do with "Smart" except the marketing. It is not even a good basic thermostat. The only good thing about this is that it looks not very ugly. But it's totally a waste of money and time to purchase, install, tweak and suffer with this product.

Love this device. I can control the temperature from anywhere. I like the sensor telling about indoor air quality.

Sleek design. Easy to install, easy to use. Accurate temperature monitoring, Seems overly sensitive when it comes to air quality monitoring. If we’re cooking it will continue to send poor air quality notifications. Temperature settings ranges are from 76-50. You can buy filters directly from Echobee, they are pricy. I like that you can have different modes for different seasons, vacation modes, away from home modes and occupied mode. Definitely very efficient. You can also get a discount for your electric company.

While the Ecobee offers great features, the setup isn’t the easiest. Installation took longer than expected and required a bit more technical know-how than a basic thermostat. Even after it was mounted, navigating the app and adjusting the temperature settings felt a little complicated at first. There’s a learning curve before everything starts to feel intuitive.

This is my favorite new technology that I have purchased in years. It looks sleek and beautiful but my features are phenomenal. Being able to control our air conditioner from anywhere, turn it up or down before we get home from work, have everything automated, have them track the humidity in our home and let us know when it gets too high or too low, air quality, music coming from Ness, Siri works great with it etc. etc. This was more than worth the money.

Seems to be every bit as good as the nest i had in my last apartment. Comes with an extra sensor to get more acurate readings than just the thermastat which happens to be right by my cold air return. Easy to set initial temperature/schedule. Easy app / google integration. It would be nice to have expanded instructions on wiring it / initial hvac option selections.

Other than being unable to set this up myself, this has been a fantastic thermostat! Coming from a Nest thermostat this feels a lot sleeker and more user friendly. The inclusion of the room sensor was a fantastic surprise! The schedule feature took a minute to figure out (being so different from Nest) but it’s working famously!

Great value, gives you so much value for the money than nest, so many configurations but easy to manage, coming from nest this is definitely an upgrade, and the room sensor is incredible as it detects motion too, not to mention the new design is beautiful.

We purchased the ecobee - Premium Smart Thermostat so we could put the smart sensor in our home office which was always hot and stuffy when the office door was closed. The smart sensor works great and we can program what days and times we want the smart sensor to control the temperature for maxium efficiency.

If you’re looking for a high end, feature packed smart thermostat for your home that’s also HomeKit compatible, look no further. I’ve been using ecobee for several years now, and was happy to upgrade from the old model, that was only Alexa compatible, with this new Siri capable model. You can control your thermostat remotely, ask Siri to change the temperature for you or Alexa or Google. If you buy into ecobee’s ecosystem, the included room sensor is great, and I bought one for every room in the house. I like all the info that they provide about specific room temperature, occupancy, and motion. All in all, I highly recommend this unit and ecobee in general. The only thing I am not sold on yet is ecobee’s home security system that uses the ecobee thermostat as a hub. It wasn’t compelling enough compared to Ring’s offering IMO, although my hope is that one day ecobee will further update its lineup, and maybe that will change.

Sleek thermastat with easy touchscreen controls. Solid metal and glass construction. Connects well with Apple homekit. Purchased two for both floors. I like the look of the interface however it is a bit confusing sometimes on what is going on ie: cooling to what temperature, etc. I feel the interface and set up should be more intuitive. Plus I'm not sure how to set up geo fence or if the sensors when I home change to cool. I'm sure I'll learn more during the next few months. I'd still recommend.

This Ecobee thermostat is one of the best things I’ve got for my place. It took a bit of time to set it up and had to call customer service to be able to do it but they were very helpful and it’s been working great since.

I don’t write many reviews these days, but had to just because of the stellar customer service I received. I’m using the Ecobee premium for just a heating system, and New York winters, in a new house. Basic wiring, with a C wire, but I still couldn’t get it working, so a call to ecobee’s customer service, and presto, a patient young lady walked me through the whole process. Very thorough, well informed, from the circuit breaker, to the boiler, to the install, to the programming. All successful. So if it’s difficult, skip the YouTube tutorials, and go straight to the source, call customer service!

Amazing product can already tell the energy efficiency was very easy to install.

Very happy with this smart thermostat as I will receive a $65 rebate from my electric company. No issues with installation. Works well with my iPhone as well as my Alexa. The screen is easy to use and is square shaped and easy to read the temperature. And, the plate is enough to cover my previous thermostat and paint job.

Good, easy to install. For some reason the setup for the sensor selections to modify the temperatures remotely is not optimal. Needs the ability to choose a sensor easily and easiky make the selevted sensor primary to adjust to that particular sensor's or thermostat's reading.
