Works better than the Nest. The Nest has a problem with the power wire, the Nest APP is better. They need to improve their app.

Before installing an ecobee, there was a 10+ degree F difference beteween the hallway with my thermostat and my bedroom and 5+ degree difference in other rooms. Even after putting plastic over our windows! We offen ran our furnace at higher temps in an effort to compensate. With an ecobee and a sensor for each room, we get a far more accurate picture of what our temps are how to economically maintain a comfortable home in the winter. The included wiring adapter meant I didn’t need to run new wiring, and the install took less than an hour.

This my first smart thermostat, and researched before purchasing. Of the two main competitors in the smart thermostat market i went with ecobee due to the c wire power extender. Amazon has their own now and that’s an option for a cheap smart thermostat.
I work from home so i pretty much have the ac set on a constant temperature. I don’t participate in any rebates my electricity provider has for a smart thermostat as I’m in a condo. So I don’t use them thermostat to its full potential but I did learn something from it. Being in Colorado it is pretty dry, but the built in humidity percentage told me my fish tank acts like a giant humidifier.
Besides that the wireless extra room sensor is good but pretty pointless for me. Once the batteries run out on it I do not plan on replacing them

Awesome thermostat. Love the ease of install, connecting additional sensors was a piece of cake, and balances better than our old thermostat. Definitely recommend.

We went to buy 3 eecobees; The store had only 2. However, they shipped the third one to our house the next day! Their service is awesome and the person who attended us was very curteous and polite!

Great Product. Installation from Best Buy is poor and questionable for the value. Their tech reps are not reliable, fail to show up, don't notify you, and generally are a blemish on what would be an otherwise great transaction. I will not use Best Buy to install my purchases in the future. Geek Squad is not recommended.

It had all the features I was looking for. It has many videos online explaining the installation process. It is an easy DIY project if you are willing to try. Now I can set the temperature from anywhere.

Very intuitive product. Easy to setup. The device and app walks you though the setup, even the wiring part. Looking forward to learning more of the advanced features.

It’s so simple to set up (hardware and software). And man did this thing save me money. If you don’t have zone Controlled HVAC system I would highly recommend. The little censors can be placed anywhere. We have one in basement, living room, and 3rd floor (where we sleep). It’s much warmer so we have it set up so it’s using temp in 3rd floor while we are sleeping. During the day my office is in basement and it’s 5-8 degrees cooler, so we use basement temp for when I’m working from home.
Con though. Eco system. It’s awesome but because of sensors it might detect something moving and think someone is home and override AWAY setting. But I find solution by turning off eco while schedule is set to HOME or AWAY.
