    I bought this so that I could have the feature of it letting me know that the fire alarm is going off. I little piece of mind while I'm away. It also will alert me if the house if too hot or too cold.

    The only thermostat you should consider if you are on the Apple ecco system. Integrates perfectly with Siri and HomeKit for easy automations

    As far as smart thermostats go, Ecobee does it well. The HomeKit integration is a nice plus. I find automating my air in HomeKit more useful than any of the smart features that Ecobee has included in their platform.

    It’s definitely nice to have all the options of a smart device. I have not had to touch the thermostat since buying this and doing the initial set up. I did however have a couple of times where it randomly disconnected from the wifi.
