    I had an old budget elegato before and it sucked. I believe this one is one tier upgrade from the one I had before. Still budget choice but much more reliable and easy to set up. Very happy with the purchase.

    Great to get when on sale. the higher frame rate pass through card is much more expensive, but this doesn't have any issues that i can tell, and is beyond easy to set up
