I use the Cam Link to add my Sony A6400 as a webcam for conference calls and live streams. With proper lighting, this makes my footage look like I’m broadcasting from a studio. Great product added to my setup.

Im sure it does what it needs to, but just make sure you have a good cable. I think mine was faulty which caused green snow on the screen. May try again later in the future.

We ended up not using the product and returned it due to the price.

It does what it’s supposed to do, connects the hdmi output on my camera to the USB port on my computer. It’s not the cheapest option, but not the most expensive either. So, all in all, a win.

Reliable and works on laptops that don't have dedicated graphics cards. I find that it still uses my laptop resources. Sometimes even running a ppt becomes sluggish with this plugged in.

Small issues, but once they're fixed it works great!

Nice bit of hardware that is also hackable if so desired (to change the output formats in hardware, rather than through a lossless software conversion in ffmpeg). Really nice bit of compact gear.

Quite simply the best fully featured product of this caliber. If you only have a single source you want to capture and don't need video passthrough this is a perfect buy.

This product performs exceptionally well however the dongle the is included to extend the device doesn't have a stable connection and when wiggled or touched in the slightest it disconnects or freezes. Not to be expected in a $130 product.

If you are into streaming on the go. Rather it be cameras or live streaming gaming, this is the way to go.

I love the elgato. These cam link last me a while and I upload constantly on YouTube. Highly recommended if you enjoy recording and uploading your gameplay . A must need

Elgato makes really good products and the camlink 4k is no exception. The quality of recording of one of the best you can get through a capture card. Highly recommend.

Live streaming with two dslr cameras, so you need separate capture cards for each device! Happy Streaming Streamers!

As far as camera capture cards go this is one of the better ones for the price, although the usb drive tends to bend a little after extended use.

Waited for this for about 3 months out of stock was worth the wait for what I needed it for

Ended up returning as Elgato Cam Link would stop work at times. Canon ended releasing their own software for Live Steam with their Mirrorless Cameras. That works well at the sacrifice of 4K resoultion to 1080p.

Excellent product. Dependable, gives good quality capture for my Sony ZV-1 camera. Highly recommend over using the USB cable.

Exactly what I needed to connect my digital camera to my computer so that I can do Zoom meetings with it instead of the built in camera.
