The HP Envy PC I purchased 2 months ago has been working flawlessly (compared to the 4 previous new PC's in a 3 week period that did not!). IT has plenty of storage covering 2 hard drives and I can back up each independent of the other. I have a large jpg collection of digital slides and the storage handling and software to update, rename & manage this media has been quick, reliable and easy to learn. I have also been able to hook up several peripherals including 2 monitors, printer, scanner, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and 2 other audio devices, plus 1-2 external hard drives. Performance has not been degraded and device & driver installation has gone smoothly. The PC has a rather large footprint, but lots of ports, multi-scan reader slots, CD/DVD drive, 2 hard drives making it a great selection for someone who requires the use of several different devices.

It seems that every six to eight years we have needed to replace our desktop computer. Last one was an HP core i7 first generation which was fast for its time. I wanted to stay with an i7 processor and have been very pleased with this new computer's performance. It boots up very quickly from a solid state drive and uses a traditional physical disk drive (1tb) for data storage. Runs quietly and comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse, which is a very nice feature.

After lots of research, I chose the HP Envy because of the basic specs: Core I7, 16gb RAM, 128gb SSD, and 1tb HD. The idea was to get a well endowed desktop platform to transfer equipment upgrades from my old gaming rig. This has worked out very well. Adding a new power supply (600w) and video card (GX 952) pushed this thing from fast to superfast. The install was easier than expected, but you will need a mini SATA adapter to connect the DVD burner ($3 online) I've been running for a month with the most demanding games at highest settings. No limits here and without any lock-ups. Best price was at HP Store, which Best Buy matched.

Attractive case: purchased for our church office. Very quiet. System was easy to set up and the SSD makes the system very responsive. To date, no problems other than a bad network cable which Windows 10 properly diagnosed. Online and local programs execute very quickly. Minimal bloatware. Tech specifications are excellent.

I did a bit of research, and this deal, for these specs, was too good to pass up. I moved up from an i3 with 6gb of memory and a 1tb hard drive (like, spinning kind), made by a brand that no longer exists. Not that anything was wrong with it, but booting up and getting all the startup stuff loaded took 5-10 minutes. HOLY SMOKES, this thing is fast. I'm booted into windows and ready to roll in a matter of seconds -- no exaggeration. I use the secondary 1tb drive to install all new software and as storage, and I keep the SSD free as the windows boot drive. And having two HDMI ports for monitors is awesome. I couldn't be happier. Working from home was always great, but now it's a pleasure.

Was looking at Dell and HP on their respective websites. For the price and availability, this computer won out. Dell couldn't touch a SSD hard drive at this price point. Moved from win 7 to 10 and pleased. Machine boot up is fast, it's quiet and I like the operating system on the SSD while data resides on old style HD. This is efficient. 16 GB of RAM helps it fly on the internet. My one additional wish, better graphics card (not a gamer but wanted an Nvidia GeoForce for the future).

So far, this is a very fast machine! The SSD is amazingly fast! The computer arrived on time and in perfect condition. The packaging is very well designed and manufactured. Every thing works as expected! Lots of ports and expansion capabilities for the future. This machine is used for a home office and is connected to a private ethernet network. We added a 4K 28" Viewsonic to the workstation and the graphics are very fast. Video viewing is just as nice as our 4K TV.

This HP Envy is an excellent performer, very fast, and quiet due to the SS drive. Whisper quiet. After living with a Sony all in one, I don't mind the extra space required for the tower, and I was able to utilize an ergonomic swivel stand for the separate 27" monitor, also HP, which is better for my particular needs and has added desk surface space. All in all, very pleased.

Decided to go back to "old school". I had an HP laptop and decided I needed a new computer. Instead of continuing with a laptop, I decided to go back to a desktop. I love it!! Sleek, design is very nice, ports are uniquely placed on the tower. System is FAST. Runs smooth. Very satisfied and would recommend this tower to anyone who really does not need a laptop.

I work a lot in graphics and so far this desktop has gotten the job done without my programs freezing up like my last desktop!

This HP operates as expected with very fast boot-up and shut-down times. It runs quietly and so far has not had any hitches. It has plenty of room for expansion as well and the processor only needs a "sports car" graphics card to run all your "VR" needs that are coming onto the market so it should be updateable for years.

The computer is very fast. It is nicely setup on the inside and has very quiet fans. Windows 10 is great. The two HDMI ports on the back of it make it really nice. The two things that HP did that don't make sense is the opening for the CD/DVD drive. It is loud and clunky. Why make a big opening for such a small drive? Also why face all the USB ports backwards so you can't see them? It makes it very easy to plug them in the wrong way.

It is sleek, fast and easy to use! It has plenty of drive space but mostly, I like the speed of all actions and the price was in my range. I have only used Dell computers but HP also has a great name and the reviews were all positive!

There are a few things that I think should be changed. I should be able to have the option of upgrading to a better Graphics Card and/or Sound Card. Also, there should be a hard copy of the User's Manual and details about the CPU and Circuit Board. There should be a CD of Windows 10 included with the Computer. What if I get a Virus and have to Format the Computer? One thing that I don't like about Windows 10 is that about every 15 minutes it takes a snapshot of my computer. I, also, can't find any CD Burning or Ripping Software. There are so many new programs that are loaded onto the Computer and I don't have any idea what they're for. There should be a booklet with a brief explanation about all these Programs.

Best PC I've ever owned! Super fast, quiet, efficient and ample storage. This is the first HP product I've owned and very impressed with the build quality and their support. Recommend highly!!

Rapid desktop. From the start, very easy to setup and processed everything fast. I have another one but without the 128g SSD. You can tell the difference between them.

This is the best computer I have owned! I have owned and worked with many different computers over the past 25 years, but this computer is far and away the best. Very fast and quiet, Does not generate any heat! Cold boot up is fast, just a few seconds for login screen!

I am quite satisfied with this computer and the boot-up time is very, very fast. The web browsers that I use upload in 1-2 seconds (Edge loads in about a second). With the updated software package I can view RAW images directly from the memory card that I use in my EOS camera and you have the option to do some basic editing as well. The hard drive runs very quietly and browsing the internet is a snap. Navigating through various web pages is very quick and responsive, and I can have several tabs open at once with very little to no impact on system speed. If you purchase this computer I would personally recommend buying a quality DOCSIS 3.0 modem/router and possibly investigate upgraded internet packages offered by your ISP to maximize performance even further. I would definitely recommend this computer without hesitation!
