Colors were always too light. No amount of altering the settings or reconfiguration fixed this problem. Would only recommend if you’re not using it as a sublimation printer. If you’re able to save a bit more for an actual sublimation printer, please do so.

My wife and I do light printing. We are having to use the clean function on this printer almost every time before use. The pages still come out horribly. I do not recommend this printer.

However, compared to et1700, it disappoints with a much smaller programming window and single page printing

Had some problems

I was happy with the quality but then it kept giving me paper jam errors. After getting the support from the geek squad out to my house, he figured out the ribbon cable was slit in two. So when the print cartridge tried to print on the paper the cable would jam the printer. Was very happy with the technician. I returned it to Best Buy with no problems and exchanged easily. I did get a ET-2850 instead and it is working well.
