EcoTank refills was the main reason for purchase, after the old Epson Xp-410 wouldn't accept paper. Cartridges for Xp-410 were hard to find, very expensive, and always seemed to need to be replaced. The ET-3850 closes up, paper is "hidden", and prints fast.

Easy to setup and use. Quality of prints is good..

Form factor is designed well. Setup was fairly easy, but took time as I had to run through the setup twice due to an unknown glitch. Physical printer Controls & menu is simple. Printing selection for different sizes and types of paper can get confusing- not as simple as it can be. Printing Quality is good. Refilling ink is much cheaper and easy to do. Overall: it was a good buy; Able to do a lot, but I feel like it should be easier to utilize all its capabilities. Would buy again.

I was looking for a home printer/copier that supported both color and black and white colors and print. The printing and copying quality is very good for what I needed. I also wanted a printer that had ink wells instead of expensive cartridges. Be careful when loading in the ink as I have a spot of red ink on my carpet. I like the fact that you can actually see how much ink is left in the well for each color.

Very efficient and easy to use. Your ink will not run out as quickly as you used to experience with cartage type printers.

Good basic, economical printer/scanner. Print quality (color saturation) was a bit disappointing. Build quality seems a little cut rate. Small interface screen is not a touch screen, so the interface is cumbersome and out dated. Setup was easy with the smart phone interface. Comes with enough ink to totally fill the tanks, which is supposed to last a long time. Scanning resolution is limited to 600 DPI. No Fax with this model.

I am so happy I ordered this printer because my daughter also owns the epson printer as well and recommended I purchase. I cannot tell you it seems the ink lasts a long long time and beats the cartridges any day. I won’t own any other from now on!!!!!!!

Fast quiet and quality printing. Ink refilling was simple and clean. Very happy with this printer.

I had an old wifi HP from 2009 that sometimes worked and the printer cartridges were around $30 - $40. They lasted for about 20 printouts and then you had to get another cartridge. Of course each new cartridge required a roller alignment which took much of the ink... This printer is a breath of fresh air... already printed about 20 to 30 papers and ink doesn't appear to have moved. Works like a champ!

Works great. Easy to set up and use. I printed several pages on card stock and photo paper. Had no issues and printing looked very good

Printer was easy to set up. I've had this printer since January 2022 and have not had to buy ink yet. The print is crystal clear.

Wonderful printer! Ink last a long time and so easy to refill. Prints two sided copies with ease. Great for a small business.

We were a bit skeptical about the tank printers, but traditional primers are eating ink like crazy. Once you get used to the odd menu navigation and lack of touch screen, the printer went through a lot of alignment calibrations, eating up my paper. Once we started using the printer, I noticed the ink levels weee not dropping like I’d expect. After a few weeks of my work paperwork, the ink levels are still high. Normally I’d be replacing an ink cartridge by now. With the low cost of the tank refills, the great quality print and ink tank longevity, we couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Excellent printer. Connects to my home network with no issues. The Ecotank is a game-changer. I printed about 70 pages with color and did not need to worry about replacing any cartridges mid-print. My wf-3720 was a decent printer but was hindered by the number of cartridges needed. It had connection issues among a few mechanical issues that required frequent attention. as my wf-3720 only lasted 2 years, I decided to purchase the geeksquad protection plan good for 4 years. Cons- not as fast as a toner printer but fast enough for a home office.

Was hesitant about buying the Epson EcoTank as I have never bought a printer with ink like this (used to buying ink cartridges). However, the sales person at Best Buy (sorry I forgot his name) explained how it works to me and convinced me to buy this over the traditional printer with cartridges. So far I have been very pleased with the printer and happy that it does not appear to use as much ink as a cartridge printer does. The ink level is going down so much slower. Only wish the model I bought was available in black.
