Customers highly value the Expression Premium EcoTank ET-7700's impressive print quality and ease of use, with many praising its straightforward setup. The printer's compact size is also a plus for those with limited space. However, some users find the small capacity of the input paper tray to be a limitation.

Great printer, easy seturp, amazing ink capacity

Overall the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer is a great printer. The compact design fits nicely on the desk. Setup and installation was easy and intuitive. Simply fill the tanks with ink and follow the onscreen directions. All of my Windows 10 computers and my iPhones found and installed my printer without any assistance from me. Some of the key features that set this printer apart are the ability to print double sided, the high quality printing of photographs, and the capability to print directly onto DVD’s.
Even with high volume printing on card stock, the printer did not jam. The ink consumption with the high volume printing seemed reasonable. It was helpful to be able to see the ink levels immediately on the printer. Some disadvantages of this printer include not being able to reload the paper without first pushing the output tray in, as it is easy to forget to pull the output tray out again. The need to confirm the paper type with every reload was inconvenient. Despite these disadvantages, I would recommend the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer for purchase. Best Printer I've Ever Owned

So, I received this product a couple of weeks ago, and have now used it enough to post an honest review. And honestly and truly, this printer has every feature I could ask for in a printer, on top of being amazingly efficient with ink and having low ink prices as compared to others. I have this setup as a network printer, being able to print wirelessly from my phone at home, while on the same network as it, and I also am able to send documents as an email to my printer, and have them print at home while I'm on the go!
This printer allows me to easily print timeless photos from my phone that would otherwise go forgotten, because honestly, I don't take the time to transfer my photos by other means. This printer is of an incredible quality, and is built very solid. It is also incredibly simple to set up! Overall, this product is a 5/5.

This printer is amazing! I️ am so thrilled to have been given the opportunity to test this printer. We print and scan constantly. Having a reliable machine is key. This printer has so much to offer that I️ have yet to explore. For starters, unboxing and setup was easy. Not intimidating and easy to follow directions. It looks great in our office and lives up to all that was explained in the users manual.
We use this printer wirelessly with Apple products. This easily set up to our home network and connected to our computer and devices. We have printed and scanned with out any problems! The copies and photos I️ have tested with have all been clear and colorful. The scanner also products clear images when sent to my computer and email. I️ can’t wait to continue exploring what this printer has to offer!

I have been using this printer for almost a week now. WHAT A PRINTER...let me rephrase that because im a nerd..This printer may be expensive but it is easy as heck to use and set up the precision in calibration is impressive the look is small yet powerful and the instructions are super easy to use! the eco tank is amazing! i feel for the first time i wont spend tons of money on ink considering the replacement is super cheap!
I can whole heatedly say i love this printer and to be honest i was not the biggest fan of Epson products in the past i am a changed man! The only think i dislike is the lack of a touch screen for the display panel but considering the sheer volume i could print and the amount of printing options i have it is a non issue

I was in the market for a new printer for my home when my 4 year old Canon Printer stopped working when I was chosen to do a beta test of the The Epson Expression Premium ET-7700. Just so we are clear since this is a beta that by no means influences my decision in any way as this is a unbiased review of what I consider a fabulous economic quality printer. The Epson Expression premium ET-7700 is a great printer for home and small office users that are looking to purchase an economical all in one printer that has excellent photo quality and comes with tons of ink! Upon unboxing the ET-7700 and removing the tape and packaging materials, the ET-7700 all-in-one is a nice looking quality printer that doesn’t take up a lot of space. The initial setup was quick and easy, (under 45 minutes) and the included Start Here guide does a very good job of walking you through step-by step the basic setup and filling of ink and setting up the printer. As a side note, I didn’t use the enclosed cd to set up the printer, as I found that the drivers on the included cd are usually out of date so I downloaded the updated setup software from Epson’s support website for my desktop and laptop OS and used the downloaded software to install the printer. I was also able to get the printer connected to my Wi-Fi network easily using the downloaded software for the ET-7700 printer and was connected in minutes. (Wired Ethernet is also an option). Setup on my other computers was also smooth, with the printer already connected to my Wi-Fi network, the process was quick and the printer was recognized on the other desktop and laptop without any issues. I was also able to connect my iPhone and iPad to the printer and using Airprint and was able to print from both devices quickly and easily. The Epson iPrint app for your mobile phone is also very nice, making photo printing from your phone a snap and offering many other great features
Epson has upgraded the Eco Tank filling process with self-sealing ink bottles and auto stop ink reservoirs making the filling process very easy to do with no mess or worry of spilling the ink. I like the fact that you can actually see the amounts of ink in each tank is an awesome feature and in the box are two full sets of ink bottles, with enough ink to last for 2 years under normal and the fact that the cost of replacement ink is over an 80% saving compared to purchasing ink cartridges is very economical and is another plus for this all-in-one printer.. So far, in my testing, I am very pleased with both the print speed and the print quality from this printer when set at Standard or High-Quality print, the printer has excellent text and image quality and a print speed of 8 ppm in Standard (color) which is quick. In Draft quality, (Mono no-color) the print speed jumps to 13 ppm and with low ink density it really make the inks last! One area of printing where I think the ET-7700 really stands out is photo printing. The image quality is outstanding and photos look crisp and clear with no image texture problems or obvious inaccurate colors that I have seen on more expensive inkjet printers from other manufacturers. .
The Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 has many high-end features as you would guess from the “Premium” name without spending a “Premium” price. It has advanced features you would expect to find on more expensive all-in-one printers such as auto duplexing, CD/DVD printing, USB direct print, Epson Connect and Google Cloud Printing, photo enhancement/restoration, and dedicated paper and photo trays plus many other functions. The onscreen controls on the ET-7700 are easy to use however, I wish they would have used a touch screen on this model but it really isn’t much of an issue as the controls on the printer are easy to use and navigate. While the price point for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 might seem on the high end at first but, once you consider that Epson has included over $1000 worth of ink (at current competitor ink cartridge prices) a free 2 year warranty and high quality printing and many extra features found on more expensive printers makes that no brainer for home or small-office users. Initially I was reluctant to use this printer because I have always been a fan of HP printers. I think Epson has stepped it up with their Eco-Tank printers. Moving away from disposable ink cartridges is a huge reason that I was ecstatic to try out this printer. Initial set up is very straight forward and easy, but it does take about 10-20 minutes depending of your level of experience with technology like this.
The printer comes with 2 years worth of ink with a much larger bottle and tank for the basic black ink. I think this is very helpful for someone like myself who tends to print more documents then pictures. The printer also comes with a separate tank an ink for a special photo black ink. This makes for much more vibrant pictures and I think its a great new feature that they are able to do with the Eco-Tank printer. The only think I think I would change about this printer would possibly to integrate a small LCD touch screen in place of the current display. I have had other printers with this feature and it makes it very handy to input wifi password, emails, etc. when using the wireless features of the printer. With all the tech that is in the machine it makes it easier to access when there is a touch screen instead of a standard screen. As someone who plans and runs everything my company the ET-7700 is great for my business. It saves us so much time and money on printing posters and pictures for company shin digs. All the prints came out clean and crisp, some are better than ones I have gotten from professional printers.
Another nice bonus with the printer is the lack of an ink cartridge and it comes with two years’ worth of ink. Setup is easy. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Amazing Premium Printer with Tons of Features

This printer has everything I could have wanted and then some. This was my first time trying an EcoTank printer and I have to say, I'm a believer! The printer came with easy to follow instructions, but I do have to say it was more of a process than I was expecting. You have to open each of the ink bottles and empty them into the printer. It's not a huge deal, but it's not as easy as clicking in a cartridge. That being said, I would much rather go through this process than have to spend a fortune on ink. It also comes with a TON of ink. Enough to fill the tanks more than twice. I'm very confident I won't be shopping for ink in the near future.
Prints look clean and sharp, as to be expected. The double sided print function works very well, and is a very welcomed function. The paper tray is a bit smaller than I was expecting. The 2nd tray (yes there are 2) is not large enough for a letter size paper. Having a 2nd tray is great for always having photo paper on the ready, but I would have liked the option to double up on letter size paper. Scanning works as expected and is easy to use via the screen. Speaking of the screen, It is adequate, but I would have liked to see a higher resolution and touch screen on a printer at this price point. However it is bright enough and does it's job well for what it is.
The internet connectivity is amazing. Up until now, I've been using a wired printer. Switching to a wifi printer is a gamechanger. The iphone app worked perfectly for me and my computer found the printer almost immediately. The process of connecting to wifi is simple and straightforward. I like having the option to connect to AirPrint or Google Cloud Print. The addition of USB, SD and ethernet is great to have. I no longer have to use my computer as a bridge to my printer.
Overall, this printer exceeded my expectations. Yes, the price is pretty high, but you buy this printer knowing you will have consistent prints and nice features. It also looks the part, and has a premium build quality. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it to anyone searching for a high end Wifi printer. When I got this product and opened it up the first impression was that it was a decent size printer and there was a lot of stuff in the box. It turned out that there were multiple ink bottles to get you set up and to refill in the future when you need to.
Set up went smooth, just make sure to pay attention to the instructions and do things in the correct order and everything will go smoothly. adding the ink was very cool. You literally pour the ink into the tanks from a bottle. It is clean and easy and you can see the print tanks filling up as you do it. I was very impressed. They also give you a second set of full ink bottles to use when you run out of your first set.
As for print quality, it is very nice. I printed documents and they came out crisp and clean. I tried photographs from my computer on regular paper and it did cause the paper to curl because there was a lot of ink so I got some photo paper in both 8x11 and 4x6 and they came out much better. With the 8x11 I used best quality with no borders via WIFI from my note 8 and the picture came out amazing. Colors were very good, not overblown, but balanced and natural and I could detect any individual dots or pixels. It took just over 3 minutes to print the whole page which I am very impressed with. Overall the printer is very fast.
Scanning is a pretty straight forward affair with nothing that really differentiated it from other printer. It looked good and was clear and easy enough to use.
Wifi was very easy to set up on both my windows 10 laptop and my phone. They both found the printer easily and worked from the first print.
The only thing I am not the biggest fan of is the print tray that catches your paper. It has to be manually pulled out every time you want to print. It is not a major drawback given the picture quality and the ink technology but worth noting.
All in all, this is a very nice printer and the ink is a game changer. I cant say enough about how much I like this method. Despite being a beta tester, my opinion is my own.

Great wireless all in one printer!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Overview: There are 3 main features I am looking for in a printer: wireless connectivity, good quality photos and documents, and low cost of ink.
The first feature I am looking for is wireless capabilities. This printer can be used without ever plugging into a PC by connecting directly to Wi-Fi using the built-in touch screen. Additionally, you can scan images directly to your computer or once you register the printer to Epson Connect you can even have scans go directly to cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or even your own email. For printing photos just find the photo you want on your computer and you can print to the printer just as if it was plugged in.
The next feature I am looking for is having good quality when printing photos and documents. When compared to a 5+ year old standard ink-jet printer the quality is far superior on this printer for photos. Colors and details are much more vivid on pictures from this printer and being able to print borderless is a huge improvement for photos. Documents are also much crisper and words on the documents pop off the page more than the other printer I had.
Finally, the amount of ink in a refill and the cost per refill is a very important feature to me. So far, I have only had the product a week so I cannot say if it will live up to the 2-year ink promise but so far I have not seen the ink levels lower very much after printing about 30 pages of documents and 20 photos. I like that you can see how much ink is left in each color by looking at the tanks and this lets you know when to refill, with other printers you would just have to wait until colors start fading to find out. I was somewhat worried at first on refilling the ink as I was worried of making a mess with the ink but the ink bottles are designed very well and made to only pour ink when inserted correctly into the ink tanks.
Pros: Great quality photos, edge to edge printing so that there is no border, scan images/documents directly to cloud services from printer, easily see all ink levels inside tanks.
Cons: Difficult initial setup to Epson Connect, lengthier setup time due to filing all ink tanks and first time priming, large learning curve on setting up the paper cassettes (these are where you put the various size papers and adjust guides so that the printer can store multiple types of paper at once).
Summary: After using this product for just over a week this printer is leaps and bounds over my old printer which will soon be on its way out. I still feel I have a lot to learn about this product but almost everything so far has been positive on this printer.

Incredible value for a small printer!

Frankly, when I saw the size of the printer, I figured it was probably like any other desktop printer I've ever used. With desktop printers, the quality is always sub-par, the ink runs out fast, and you cannot print lab-quality photos, so none are really worth the investment when you can just print photos at the nearest supermarket.
Much to my surprise, even the test print came out looking laser quality, and better.
I started setting up the WiFi and the connected printing options, convinced that my HP printer would still reign king of the connected printers, but I found that all the same options and more were available to me. I happen to be a Google Fiber customer, so I use my Google Drive and Google utilities a lot, so when I found that I could use the Google Print features, I was simply ecstatic! This has helped quite a bit when my sister needs to send me a document that I need to fill out, or when she has a picture she wants printed with professional quality. The flexible options for printing on CDs, professionaly photo paper, and more are just phenomenal!
I decided to head to the store and buy a ream of glossy photo paper to print on, so I could test the quality of the print and the ink life promised. I was convinced that this printer would go through ink faster than it stated. The quality of the photo prints were STUNNING, and the software both on my computer and the mobile app made each print look phenomenal! I was so impressed by the quality, that I printed about 50 full page sets to give to family, and to my surprise, the ink levels barely were impacted. I think I have finally fallen in love with a printer!
The edge printing and disc printing were equally as impressive. Perfect edge-to-edge printing with no smudges or distortions, and disc printing was phenomenally easy with the equipped disc tray.
I don't think I'll ever consider another printer!

Best Printer Ever

This is a great printer probably the best EcoTank I have used. The printer quality is amazing when printing pictures. There are so many features and I suggest when you do purchase this printer make sure to find out as much as you can about all the features. One of the best features is the app called Epson Creative Print which allows you to create picture collages, stationery, greeting card, print CD/DVD labels, urn pictures into coloring book pages and print pictures directly from Facebook and Instagram.
Setup is very easy. Just install the ink bottles to the ink tank then follow the directions on the screen. Connect either using WiFi or Ethernet. Once connected to your network make sure to connect to Google Cloud and Epson Connect to upload photos or scanned documents directly to your Google Drive. Also Epson connect allows you to create a printer email which you can use to email your printer documents quickly when you are away from home.
I really like the cassettes to store your photo paper or your regular paper. There is also a top load option for fast copies. There are so many features it would take too long to go over everything.
All in all this printer is amazing and very affordable when you think about the amount of ink it comes with. The replacement bottles of ink for another year of ink is cheaper than any cartridge printer. Number one complaint I have ever heard about printer is the price of ink and I truly believe that Epson has finally put a stop to that with this printer.

Printer exceeded expectations

I remember the days before we all had printers at home, and we had to go to the public library and pay $.25/page to make copies. Now Epson had designed a new printer that does it all- and no quarters needed. This new Epson’s Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Supertank is incredible. Right out of the box, it looked ready to print. With just a few commands I was up and running.
While the box is a little big, it easily fit in the car and I was able to carry it upstairs to our home office. The actual footprint needed to house the printer on the desk was not as large as I had expected. Once all the protective packaging was removed, the set up was easy.
The quick start instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I was able to easily connect wirelessly to my laptop and begin printing with just a few key strokes. The best part is the ecotank ink! I have spent so much money on tiny ink cartridges, and they always seem to be dry when I really need to print something important. No more! I can see the ink levels easily, and refill when needed. No quick trips to town to buy more ink to print my project. Lots of money savings too!!!!
The quality of prints is excellent. Documents are clear and crisp. Photos are really nice- quality worthy of framing.
This printer is really great and I am very happy with it.

Printing Luxury!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I never thought I would use luxurious as a way to describe a printer but that is exactly what it is. There are many things that set this apart from other printers, but there are two that really stand out to me. For starters, it comes with two years of ink, and that is if you print 300 pages a month! I print a lot. For example, I print my entire planner and organizer every year, multiple shipping labels each week and print a ton of coupons every month, but nowhere near 300 pages, so this will last me much longer than two years. That means no more buying cartridges every other month or forgetting and running out. The savings alone makes this printer extremely desirable. The ease of the set up is the next thing that sealed the deal. The last printer I set up took me calling the IT department multiple times and had me wanting to throw it in the end. This one took less that 30 minutes for the complete set up. That included the manual part, which was filling the ink and putting in the wifi password, and downloading the software. No calls, no mess, and no problems. Life has enough complications and worries on its on and a printer should not be one of them. If you want to save money, time and get excellent results, then this is the printer for you. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

No longer do I have to deal with redundant printers. The Epson ET-7700 gives me everything I'm looking for in a printer. Everything from wireless printing to classic printing on compact discs. Makes this printer a solution for all my printing problems. I am able to print everything from photos to important documents right off my phone. The Epson ET-7700 not only prints out quality jobs, it is quick and efficient.
With my old printer I have spent a great deal of money on ink cartridges and refills. With the Epson ET-7700 this bill is going to be nearly cut in half. Refilling the printing ink is quick, easy, and nearly effortless. No more messy ink spills an account of refilling your own cartridges. The easy to use nozzles on the printer ink makes it so just about anyone could do it. The ink also goes a long way.
Operation of this wonderful device may take a little time to master. But with all the extra bells and whistles on it, this is understandable. Installation of the Epson ET-7700 is simple and easy. Controls to the printer are smooth operating and has a user friendly interface.
With all this being said I highly recommend the Epson ET-7700 to anyone who wants a do-it-all printer. This miracle machine will save time and money. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

The Inkjet Reimagined

I was really excited to receive my Epson ET-7700. I know it sounds pretty geeky but Epson has managed to make the Inkjet fun again. Gone are the days of the ink cartridges that you never really knew how much ink was inside of them. Here are the days of transparent ink bottles that load right into the printer with ease. I found this process to be easy and fun for the most part.
The box and printer are average in weight. The unboxing experience was average with lots of protection on the unit. It may appear overwhelming with the parts you begin to take out of the unit but once you figure out that its all the ink they are providing you become quite happy. The setup was pretty straight forward and the directions were helpful.
The quality of the prints are excellent, and I have enjoyed using this printer very much so. The amount of ink provided and longevity of the ink is outstanding. Epson has made an outstanding personal multifunction printer. This printer will be enjoyed for years. This is my new everyday driver for person and business needs.

EPSON Expression ET-7700 review

The ET-7700 is one of the best printers I have tested so far. The EcoTank feature is really cool and saves a lot of ink and lets you print more than a normal cartridge printer. Although it is big and somewhat expensive, I would say its worth the investment for a small business owner or just for people that print a lot. The quality of the prints are high quality, and images are also high quality. The fact that it an also print to CD’s is also cool. The printer itself is somewhat heavy but that just makes it more durable.
The best part about this printer is the EcoTank. This reduces the amount of ink that is used and saves more which in turn lets you print more. This being one of the awesome features, the screen on the printer is also a nice touch, as you can see what your printing before you print. Aside from the screen the Web Interface for the printer could use some work, but having the ability to connect to Google Cloud Print and EPSON Connect makes up for that. All in all, this printer is a very well-built printer. First Impressions Epson ET-7700 AIO

With my Canon Pixma MX882 AIO printer that I purchased on Amazon in 2011 still functioning, but insistently warning me that the ink absorber would soon have to be replaced in addition to needing more ink cartridges, I thought that this would be a good time to get a new printer. I also had just replaced my 5.5-year-old desktop AOI PC in May of this year.
I knew that I wanted one of the new ink tank and NOT ink cartridge printers in the expectation of saving some money over the long-term despite the higher initial cost. This specific Epson inkjet AIO was the best fit for me: 1) 5 inks for higher quality photo printing and not just 4 - as in the Workforce series, 2) SD card and USB flash memory capable, 3) no automatic document feeder (ADF) since I knew from past experience that I rarely needed one, 4) 100 sheet capacity paper tray was enough for me, 5) no fax function since for me faxing has pretty much been replaced by email; that rarely needed fax can sent via an online on-demand fax service such as FaxZero, 6) the wider format but otherwise identical Epson ET-7750 would have been overkill.
I purchased this printer - my very first Epson - when the price recently dropped from $549.00 to $449.00. I also had considered Canon’s new MegaTank printer the Pixma G4210 (currently around $299.00) which with its 4 inks and ADF/faxing capabilities is most comparable to the Epson Workforce models. However, reviews here on Amazon and elsewhere indicate customer displeasure with some of its features: 1) extremely small and often illegible LCD display with confusing menus, 2) no paper trays at all with gravity paper feed from the back and printed copies exiting in the front, 3) no duplex printing, 4) diverse software issues/problems, 5) ink bottles require a certain amount of squeezing to fill the 4 tanks which may result in a bit of a mess if you squeeze too hard; Epson ink bottles are completely gravity fed – no squeezing required.
This Pixma G4210 is presently rated very highly by Consumer Reports – much higher than Epson models, but they are engaging in an inaccurate, if not false comparison. All the comparable Epson Eco Tank printers in the current Consumer Reports rating list are exclusively earlier models from 2015; nothing new at all from Epson is included. Consumer Reports should not be playing such deceitful games and should be reviewing/testing the current Epson model line just like they were easily able to get their hands on the aforementioned 2018 Canon MegaTank AIO.
When I unpacked my new Epson Eco Tank AIO, I must say that it struck me as being somewhat flimsy in its overall build quality when compared with the Canon Pixma MX882 that it was replacing. The latter was truly solid and built like a battle tank. The cover on this non-ADF Epson model appears to be made of especially lightweight plastic and I wouldn’t recommend setting anything on top of it – not that anyone ever would. The plastic paper trays (1, 2 & the paper output trays) also appear to be quite delicate and unexpectedly flexible; it will be interesting to see how these parts hold up over time. Certainly caution always will need to be exercised during use.
Apart from the initially disappointing aesthetics, everything has been just fine where it counts, namely during installation and in technical performance. I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever with my Epson ET7700 so far. The initial filling of the 5 ink tanks and subsequent charging of the printer was the most time-consuming procedure. I recommend viewing the short video available online from Epson Support before doing this, since the included printed Quick Start instructions do not indicate when you should fill each tank with the ink still remaining in each of the bottles after charging has completed. The video clearly shows when to do this. After having successfully filled all the printer’s ink tanks, you will happily still have a full set of 5 ink bottles available for future use.
The printer software installation on a Windows 10 PC and connection to my secure WiFi network (via Netgear Orbi WiFi System) was flawless. The most time-consuming step here was entering my SSID and password directly via the printer’s LCD. If you own a Roku, other streaming device or a smart TV, then you know the drill. Everything functions as it should with WiFi scanning and printing from my PC and via Epson Connect online. I have yet to install and try one the dedicated Epson printer smartphone apps and may not do so since printing via the already installed Google Cloud Print app works just fine. Despite having an available external DVD/CD drive, I did download the software suite from the Epson website to ensure that I would be getting the latest version and I recommend that you do the same. A quick look at the software CD indicates a date of April 2017 while the online software package that I downloaded was dated September 2017.
Presently, I am still in the first week of familiarizing myself with the Epson ET-7700. If necessary, I will report back with any unanticipated problems/issues as they arise. I give this ink tank AIO 4 out of 5 stars due to its clearly less robust construction when compared with other printers that I have known over the years.
I would recommend this to a friend
