I've never set up a printer on my own and was very nervous. The ink scared me the most but it was insanely simple, you just line it up, turn it upside down and let it do it's thing and then remove it. Mess-free also. It was very easy to set up via computer. It has a very sleek design. So far I am very happy with it. Much better than any printer I've had. Quality is amazing. The fact you can send a picture or document directly from your phone makes this product even better. I used to have to send it to my email then save it to my computer and then print it, this completely bypasses this step. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    Behold: Printer technology advancement.

This little printer is pretty impressive, even after just over a week of use. I really needed this more for the color photo printing features than anything else. However, since I received it, I find it is already becoming my go-to printer for all types of documents. Setup was easy, a whole new experience on this one! Ink install was just as everyone has mentioned, truly a no-brainer. I like the idea that I am able to print whatever quantities or quality of documents (or photos) that I need, and without having to watch the ink supply dwindling with each sheet. Granted, I might have to deal with filling the tanks in a year or two (according to Epson), but it's very nice to be able to SEE the ink levels in the front of the printer instead of merely trusting whatever internal system the manufacturer designed for displaying warning dialogs to warn you that ink is low. It will certainly be a pleasure not to look at those incessant warnings - at least for awhile! The setup with my network was seamless, as I noticed when I opened the printer box, there was a note on top, containing a web address directing me the latest software, so I disposed of the CD that came with this and went straight to Epson for it. It recognized my wifi network right away, and installed whatever drivers were needed. I was able to There was a firmware update, which was just 2-3 clicks on the web-based app on my computer, and it was done in a flash. When I printed from my 2nd computer (a laptop connected wirelessly), the 7700 showed up as an option under my printers, already, so there was no additional setup required for a different OS. And, when I opened the Epson iprint software on my Android (I already have a different model of Epson), it not only gave me a choice of printers, it will also display the ink levels, allows me to scan/copy, or get images from the cloud to print. The color prints are much better than I've experienced in awhile via a personal printer. I gave up printing photos at home years ago, due to the expense and bother of constantly buying ink refills (and inferior quality). However, with the great quality of the photos this 7700 is printing now, there's no need for me to upload pics to the local pharmacy and big box store anymore just for regular prints. The lack of an ADF or fax capability is not a big issue for me, but if those are features you desire, there is an almost identical model to this one that has ADF and Fax - intended for business use. Although I would prefer that the paper tray held more than 150 sheets of paper, having the dedicated trays (one for regular paper, one for photo paper) is a big bonus. No more printing the wrong document to the wrong tray and wasting paper (and ink). It also has a slot for printing CDs and DVDs, which is kind of intriguing, I have not tested that but it's a feature I haven't seen on a printer in many years. Bottom line, if you are in the market for a printer, or just looking for an upgrade - this is a great solution and the quality is impressive. You'll also have the added bonus of delving into the new, super-convenient printer ink technology. This printer exceeded my expectations. The ink was easy to put in, which was one of my initial worries. Set up took no more than 5 minutes, and was hassle free. It was easy to add the printer to nearby computers thanks to AirPrint support. I was unable to add it to a laptop at one point but I think that was because of the WiFi network I was using. Other than that I haven’t experienced any issues and would highly recommend this printer. The Epson ET-7700 - Expression Premium Eco Tank Printer is probably one of the best printers I have used in the past year. I was able to set up the printer in less that 45 minutes, the ink well holds a large capacity of multiple inks including a photo black. I really like that the ink gets loaded easily, does not drip, and has special designed connections different from each other so you cannot mistakenly put the wrong ink in the wrong well. I also like that they supply you one complete refill of each ink bottle. I also like that the tank is easily accessible as most of the time it is located in the printer and you have to mess with the mechanics to get the cartridges in but not with this printer, super easy. The ink bottles self-stop once full and you have a small amount left over that you can save and put in to the tank later once you have printed a few sheets. The paper trays store easily, it even comes with a disk writing label holder. . The printer takes different SD cards and the display screen is crisp, full color and easy to follow. The wireless printing setup was flawless and went smoothly. Very intuitive and interactive. Made my setup time quick and easy which is what I look for in any product. I have printed over 50 pages so far and each page is crisp and clean. I have not had a paper as of yet and I don't see it happening in the near future. The gears are well constructed and run smoothly. I printed photo pictures and the quality was phenomenal. They printed clear, crisp and I was able to hang some of the bakery cakes and desserts up on the wall for customers to view. The printer comes with a more functions features that is packed with some powerful tools, from photo greeting cards to making a coloring book for the kids. Great features. The scanner works great allowing me to scan in special pictures and manipulate them for my customers cakes. One of my favorite features is the printer quiet mode, the printer is super quiet to begin with but when that function is on you can't hear it in the background. The wireless printing is probably in my top three love this printer topics. I was at a client's able to send a picture to my designer and have him look at the design to see if we could do this cake. Great feature. I recommend this printer for anyone looking for a large well printer with lots of features. Very Slick All-In-One Photo Printer

I've used this printer as my main printer for a week now and its been a really great printer so far. I've had several different printers in the past couple of years and I can really see all the technological improvements that have been made with these printers. Epson has spent a lot of time improving both hardware aspects and software aspects. The 2.7" touchscreen makes using the printer very intuitive and simple. Furthermore, you can even complete all the admin settings via the printer's IP address on a web browser. You can view the printer status and make settings changes from the iOS app. This makes everything so much more convenient for those who mostly print from a mobile device. When printing from mobile, this printer has so many different options depending on what you prefer. You can use Apple Airprint, Google Clound Print, or Wifi Direct. There's even a feature where you print by sending a document to your Epson Connect email address. Initial setup of the printer was very easy. It took about 15 mins from unboxing to my first print. I was a little concerned about filling the ink tanks initially but they have really made it idiot proof. The printer comes with two sets of 5 ink bottles (that's the equivalent to 30 sets of ink cartridges or 2 years worth of ink) in the box. The ink bottles are keyed so that you can't put the wrong color ink in the wrong tank. Plus the bottles have an auto close nozzle so it automatically stops filling once the ink tank is full. After filling the ink cartridges, the next step was calibration. It's really great to see that the printer had some calibration test to make sure that all the ink jets are properly aligned. That way I know that all my prints will turn out great. My photo prints turned out great! It's a shame that the printer doesn't include any sample photo paper so don't forget to buy what you need. Its really great that the printer has two separate paper trays so that I can leave my photo paper in one tray and have plain paper in the other tray. With the Super Tank ink cartridge design, I feel like I don't have to worry too much about using up all of my ink. Another years worth of ink only costs $56. Overall this printer has excellent build quality and provides a lot of value. Print quality is great given the 5760 x 1440 DPI max print resolution. Its fairly quiet and it prints fast. Great printer!! This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

I was given an opportunity to test out this printer and I have been absolutely impressed with it right out of the box. The packaging describes everything to expect from Epson and their quality printers. The bold styling lets you know that this printer is going to be your home or office companion for a long time.I have bought and used many different printers in the past and know what name brands stand out among the rest, so I wasn't expecting anything less than an absolute quality product from Epson. Unboxing and setup was very easy. Ink cartridge installation and filling the Eco-Tank was quite an interesting new concept and very enjoyable experience. The full color instructions and manual were very clear and not inundated with useless jargon or hard to follow guidelines or wording. I can say nothing but great things about this printer and it's design. All your reasons to buy this product are right here in this review. Epson continues to manufacture top-of-the-line consumer products, and will always stay one-step ahead of the innovative curve. By far the best choice for brand name quality, and the overall performance one would expect from a company who has been making and selling quality electronics for many years. Overall, my experience with the printer has been nothing short of outstanding and I am sure that anyone who buys this printer will experience similar results and will be glad they made the purchase. An elite printer that gets the job done

First and most importantly, the quality of printing from the Epson ET-7700 is amazing and I say that with absolutely no equivocation whatsoever. The printing I have done on it thus far, has been the best of any home printer we have had. I also enjoy the easy to use interface on the printer itself. The screen is an appropriate size, easy to read, and the usability/navigation is intuitive. Mobile printing is spot on as well. I was able to set up printer with my home WIFI and connect easily to all my Android and PC devices (smartphone, tablet, and laptop). A major plus of this printer is the ink/cartridge free printing. The amount of printing you can do with the ink that comes with the package, offers amazing value. It claims to include up to 2 yrs. of ink, and print up to 14,000 black/white, and 9,000 in color – and I absolutely believe it. Coupled with that, it has the ability to do double-sided printing, which offers opportunity for less paper waste (which is important to me). The ability to print without PC via memory card and USB slots are also nice features. The only drawbacks I can identify thus far are the setup time to get up and running and the actual size. Setup time took me about 45-60 minutes, so not an enormous amount of time, but felt myself getting a little frustrated. After I got it up and running, stress subsided, and I was actually very pleased with the initial few test printing jobs I ran. The other concern is size. The ET-7700 is on the larger side for home printing options. It does take up considerable amount of desk space. With that said, it’s not oversized by any means, and its overall value and quality supersede either of these small concerns. If you’re looking for quality, value, and a printer that does everything it promises, and does all those things well, the ET-7700 is a product I would highly recommend. I can honestly say that this is the best printer I have used to date. Just by looking at the picture of the printer on the box I thought it would be hard to set up. I was wrong it literally took me ten minutes to set up the printer just by reading the easy to follow instructions.I thought the ink would be messy and get everywhere when filling up the ink compartments but it is not. All the inks have a specific nozzle that matches there individual ink compartment if it does not fit that means it is not the correct compartment for the ink. The ink only flows when it is turned upside down in there ink compartment once removed it does not flow or leak even if turned upside down or shook. Now my laptop does not have a disc drive so the best part for me was being able to download the manual and everything else to get the printer running and connected to my computer directly on-line. Once I had the printer connected and running I started doing some test prints and the vibrancy with the color photo prints are amazing. So far I have printed over 200 pages and the ink is not even half way gone. The only con I have with this printer is having to pull out the tray for the paper to slide off of when done printing. To me that's a hassle because I do not want to keep getting up and down to open and close it just so my child does not mess with it. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I have been using the Epson Expression ET-7700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer for a couple of days now. Setting it up was not complicated. I read the instructions and removed all the unnecessary plastic covers. Putting in the inks and warming them up were also a very easy task. It came with a cd to run on my laptop so I could get the necessary installation files.

    Color Printer

The Epson ET-7700 All-In-One printer has many pros and cons. Some positive reviews about this printer is that the Wi-Fi from this device to your phone is fantastic. It prints fast and has long range distance in your home. In addition the printer cartridges are very easy to handle and does not make a mess when filling them up. The use of color does not easily run out even if you are doing mass quantity of color. The setup was especially easy and the direction were clear as day. However, I have encountered a couple of issues with this printer. One problem I found was that there were too many vertical and horizontal lines throughout the full color page printing. In addition the first couple of prints the color was faded and I had to reprint the picture to get the actual results. The colors are not vivid and lack bright colors such as neon. Overall I think this was a good product for it was very easy to put together and is equipped with a lot of useful technology. I have been using my new Epson ET-7700 printer for a little while now and am extremely pleased with it. The printer was easy to set up. It connected with all my wireless devices immediately. The shape of printer makes it easy to find a home. It is a uniform rectangle except for the tray where the pages land when it prints. The ink tanks were very easy to fill. I really like to you can actually the level of ink you have left in each tank. I really like having an sd slot that is easy to access. You can print photos directly off of the disk. The photos come out with brilliant color. There are even options to edit the photos. The scanner works just as well with scanning documents or photos. This printer is easy to use and will make a great addition to your electronics. I am now using it as my default printer and could not be happier. My initial reaction to the printer was "WOW!!! This thing is so feature loaded, I dont even know where to start!" and that was when I realized, I would have to navigate through dozens of menus and settings to see all of them. The controls were very straight forward to use. However, I would have liked to see better implementation of the keyboard, like allowing a USB one to be used for entering Wireless information. I can't stand the little "keyboard" that comes with it, and every other wireless printer. Also, I felt that there too many features. I mean, more than the average user would use. I guess that's why its an enterprise style printer! But other than the awful keyboard experience, the setup and use was very straight forward if you use the included instructions. Not to mention that they also send you about 2 years worth of ink! I think that was my favorite part. This was one of the best printers I have ever owned until I moved it from one room to other. It started making a noisy and no longer would print. :( I have tried everything and nothing works. Worst part is Best Buy will not work on Printers, not even the ones you buy from them. I am so sad and don't have money to replace my same printer plus I have over 1 Yr. at least left in ink.

Our beloved HP 6520 printer died. We print a LOT of photos that we have edited using PhotoShop. We purchased the HP 6978 which we did not like: colors were not true - bad sharpness and brightness....difficult paper feeding for 4x6 or 5x7. We returned the 6978 and bought the HP 8710 which was a little better, but not nearly what our 'old' printer could do. We returned THAT printer and bought the Epson ET 7700, and WE ARE HAPPY AGAIN. This printer does great 'draft' printing of things like bills, and the scanner has many features including an adjustment of the size of the doc you want to scan. We love the idea of the ink tanks. The front panel tilts up and uses buttons, not a touch screen, to make choices, i.e. paper size or type or even actions to take. I hate touch screens. The best part is the printing of the photos. It took a bit to learn how to 'communicate' b/w Photoshop and the printer, but in the Advanced setting of the printer dialog box, choose ICM which will print what you see on your monitor. I guess many people let the printer decide about editing. We don't. The colors are brilliant; the images are sharp. Thank you Epson. We highly recommend this printer if you are into photo printing as we are. And, thank you Best Buy for your exchange policy and thank you Best Buy Copperfield in Cypress, TX, for your employees who were extremely helpful....esp. Ray.

Good in many ways but not for photos

I purchased one of these after reading the reviews, having high hopes for printing photos. It is great having lots of ink and being able to easily see how full the ink tanks are. Setup was not a problem. However, I am trying to find a printer that can print photos as well as our old and no longer working color printer. This printer cannot do that. The intensity of the colors is not as good and the resolution does not appear to be very good. The HP images are much sharper and the colors more intense. I took the printer and my computer in to Best Buy to see if the Geek Squad could find any software adjustments that I was missing, but they could not make it print any better than what I already printed. The printer may be capable of printing higher quality photos, but if so, the software does not currently make this possible. The printer is a bit awkward in design. To put in paper you have to push in the output tray, pull out the paper tray, put in paper, push it back in and then pull the output tray out again. There is a rear paper-feed for single sheets. If you want a good all-in-one printer that prints good but not excellent photos and can also scan, print text and so on at a reasonable printing cost, then this is a good printer.
